the one true Matt Mauck led LSU to a natty in '03. He is now a dentist. I will prepare for him like I always do, brush AND floss after every meal.

You're drinking tonight, aren't you? I'm always entertained when you drunk-post. You get people all flustered and wondering if you're serious. Well done, RC!! Well done.

Yeah right. I've never seen a team so affected by it than 2013 UGA was. Your new QB is a dead man.

Nice East ring there sport. But seriously, East?

So you're happy with 3rd or 4th in the West and wouldn't trade it for a East crown?

How can you call Bama out on that when they played AU much tougher than Missouri did. Missouri didn't show up for the 4th quarter while Bama played tough down to the last second.

Also there is no way Missouri wins in Columbia. Pinkel for his career is 15-34 vs top 25 teams, 4-20 vs top 10 teams, and 28-32 in road games.

As far as Maty Mauk goes, if he is such a stud why didn't any of the major SEC schools offer him? I believe Missouri and Vandy were his two SEC offers.

Probably because he's from Ohio? The state where he set multiple High School records.

Pinkel was 5-2 last year against ranked teams. See how meaningless stats are?

That isn't his list of offers that is the list of schools who recruited him. Here's his real list of offers:

Missouri
Ball St
Buffalo
Cincinnati
Illinois
Michigan
Kent St
Notre Dame
Vandy

I'd rather compete for the conference title and NC as we've been doing for the past several years. Great, you won the east but it's not the crystal ball. Oh, and here's another type of ring.

We competed for the conference title and working for the NC......nice ring other than the LSU part.

I would like to know who those 5 wins are. SC and AU were the losses, I would imagine UGA, UF, Ole Miss, and TAMU were ranked when you played them but who is the 5th? Vandy was ranked in the final poll but I don't think they were when you played them. EDIT- The 5th was OkieSt in the bowl game.

Either way last year is less relevant for Pinkel and Missouri than for most teams because of the huge loss of players at Missouri. Its not like there's a cupboard full of blue chippers waiting for their shot either. Recruiting has been a struggle since Missouri joined the SEC, consistently finishing near the bottom.

Here are some stats that I think you'll find meaningful this season.
#102 -your NCAA rank in % of tackles returning
#113 -your NCAA rank in % of yards returning
#111 -your NCAA rank in % of lettermen returning

oh boy. once again the mizzou douchiness staining the rant. one hit wonder fluke year and these douches get out of their minds. the reality of the sec will soon settle in to these dulards. mauk is untested and of seemingly average skill set. Dylan Thompson throws for 600 yards more than bowtie boy. effin Yankee tits.

Well said. They had a good season but come on! How about doing this in the SEC on a yearly basis before you talk shite. One year is not a dynasty or a trend. You sir, get an Upvote.

You're really gonna hang your hat on a waste of a scholarship? What's scary is that SC doesn't have an underclassman better than Thompson. Not a very bright future for SC.
