I don't think Daeshon Hall is even the same person.

Ok, I'm confused. Why does it look like Parker, at 6'2, is taller than Pope and Reynolds at 6'4?

I'm sure i'm not the first to point out JJ looks a lot like Francis Buxton from Pee wee.

Awesome that Ced is so involved in the program
He is basically getting a head start on a coaching career starting it at 18 while also getting an education. Great for him

Sumlin hinted at this yesterday but Snyder made it official - they are moving Jay Arnold to the 3-tech.
It certainly gives more depth at an unknown position. We are going to need one of the 3s to move to NT imo. If Ivan does indeed play, I think it will be him giving us
NT - Walker (SO), Henderson (FR), Robinson (SR)
DT - Z Williams (JR), Arnold (SO), Manning (FR)
Not sure what they do if Robinson doesn't come back. Maybe add Washington to DT and Manning at Nose? I really don't think Manning would be a good NT though.

Does that mean Johnson is the backup strongside end?

Garrett will probably play both sides. He's starting off at SDE actually. I think the DE situation is going to look like
WDE - Hall (SO), Jackson (FR), Taylor (SR)
SDE - Obioha (JR), Garrett (FR), Taylor (SO)
That may flip if we have to get Garrett on the field and we prefer Obioha to Hall. But I think the most likely scenario is we rotate 3 guys at the 2 DE spots (Obioha, Hall, Garrett).
We haven't really rotated much at DE. We played the entire bowl game with just 2 (Hall and Arnold). That may be because we've lacked depth so we'll see. But I still think Cunningham and Johnson will redshirt barring injuries. It makes little sense to me to waste a year if they are running 3rd team. You also don't want to overload a class at one position.

Coach Snyder said Nick Harvey will start at nickel/corner, Qualen Cunningham at strong DE and DeShawn Washington at nose tackle. #TAMU

Thinking about Matthews and Raven at safety again makes me a sad panda

Howard Matthews is a pretty good safety who played with a terrible front 7 and terrible linebackers and got caught with his hand in the cookie jar too many times.
He was our leading tackler, and that's not good at safety. He was tied for the lead with Deshazor in takeaways too.
