Crow pie post with graphs and tons of data

The data reveals that the Greg McElroy labeled Saban effect only partiilly worked one time because it certainly did not work at Michigan St or Miami.....

He had his chance today and froze up.

I guess it's easier to talk shite behind a camera than when Les is in his face.

You ignored my request. If LSU made Saban, then certainly LSU was successful before Saban, and the record prior to his arrival would prove that. Show me what a great powerhouse LSU football was in the decade before Saban. Tell me about all of the national championships LSU won before CNS.

Jesus. Alabama fans do enough to embarrass ourselves. All you had to do was sit back and watch. Instead LSU fans find a way to embarrass themselves by collectively having a group PMS session over a mid 20's nerd in his rookie year on ESPN.

Fact is, Saban was not successful right before or right after LSU. This leads one to beleive that he learned what it takes from LSU (possibly Dinardo?)

Its really simple ..that's why I hope Greg calls me as I truly believe I can help him too.

Why does Less still feel so threatened by Saban? He said in that 2011 ESPN magazine article about him he was no longer jealous of Saban. Clearly he lied.

Uh I'm pretty sure they get along well, and it's the retards on message boards that create fantasies of them hating each other.

3 losses in a row for LSU against Bama. About to make it four. Must suck to have to depend on the performance of other teams to trash talk.

Congrats LSU fans on Auburn and OU's victories against us

You really have the shittiest retorts on here.

If you could actually use half of your brain, you'd see that Alabama had a mediocre decade before Saban arrived, yet you continue to push the agenda that Saban was the reason for Miles' success. Are you retarded? Using your gump logic, Shula, Fran and Dubose should take credit for Saban's success in that case. Print the shirts!

Pre-Saban era: (1997-2007)
97 Record: 4-7 (SEC: 2-6, t-5th in Western Division)
98 Record: 7-5 (SEC: 4-4, 3rd in Western Division)
99 Record: 10-3 (SEC: 7-1, 1st in Western Division)
00 Record: 3-8 (SEC: 3-5, t-5th in Western Division)
01 Record: 7-5 (SEC: 4-4, t-3rd in Western Division)
02 Record: 10-3 (SEC: 6-2, 1st in Western Division - ineligible for tle)
03 Record: 4-9 (SEC: 2-6, 5th in Western Division)
04 Record: 6-6 (SEC: 3-5, t-3rd in Western Division)
05 Record: 0-2 (SEC: 0-2, 6th in Western Division - originally 10-2 with 10 wins later vacated by NCAA ruling)
06 Record: 0-7 (SEC: 0-6, 6th in Western Division - originally 6-7 with 6 wins later vacated by NCAA ruling)

Two 10W seasons........in a decade.

How does top ten all-time College football team sound
BEFORE Saban ever stepped foot on campus chief? I would call that pretty damn successful in the decades and over the years. Were the 90's a down period? Certainly, but anybody who claims LSU football didn't ever field a competent team before Saban showed up is ignoring facts.

What about the decade after Saban got there?

What was it? 5 in a row....

3 if we counted like gumps. Again, don't take my word for it, look for yourself on what history shows our football team was ranked before Saban. I know that pisses you off because apparently you didn't do your research and just spouted off the company line you've always heard but it's true.

Do you mean to tell me that a program that was staring down the barrel of the gun of the NCAA is going to be mediocre to terrible? No shite. That doesn't mean that our program wasn't wildly successful before then. Hell, even Dubose won an SEC title and Shula had a ten win season at Bama.

Were Fran, Dubose, and Shula all successful during their time at Alabama? Did they build a culture of winning consistently?
