Butthurt over what exactly?????

I really don't mind UGA as a football team. Everything else associated, not so much.

Most of it isn't classy at all, but I prefer it to Athens. But then again peace signs, not showering, and jam bands aren't my thing.

But gang bangs, murder, and high STD rates are?

That I am, I used to go to Athens quite often on weekends growing up. You could show the bouncers a WalMart Gift Card with your picture taped to it and get in at most bars there.

Trying to decide if you are blasting Athens, the bouncers, or yourself for trying that!

So Athens is a trashy place, yet you used to go there all the time?

Vague shot at most large cities, minus the STD rates part? At least people are getting action

Interesting development.

Actually, nobody knows. They haven't (or won't) release his name. For all we know, he is our #1 target!

They did say who he was NOT, though. Said it was not one of the 4 guys we signed from Dawg Night, so that's good news!

There should be a statue of liberty built to the east of Auburn, facing Georgia, that says:

"Give us your rapists, your murderers, your cutthroats, and gang members."

And I'm sure Baton Rouge is the epitome of class.

Seriously? I was born in baton Rouge and actually went back there to work as an adult for 3 1/2 years. You can have baton Rouge. LSU is a good school, though. Lots of good fans. VERY rabid, no doubt.

I DID enjoy Riverwalk, though.

We don't know if the kid was an active recruit or not. Dawg Night allows a ton of kids to register and pay and attend... they do not require an offer or invite.

What I do know is that any potential active recruiting ends with an event like this. Kids like Tray Matthews have their recruiting pick up steam from Auburn after an alleged theft claim.

Why are Aubies butthurt over troll threads like these.
You can't give a kid his 2nd, 3rd, or 4th chance if he doesn't screw up like this before-hand.
Embrace your M.O. or fire the guys responsible for allowing these types of kids in.

I actually used someone else's school ID in Athens most of the time. Scratched out the actual birthday, and told the bouncers the student ID number was the birthday in Athens once. It worked.

I also used to pick my nose, eat baby food, and shite myself. But I grew out of it for the most part.

Nope! In the clear on TT. The kid was from South Florida, actually.

Most places that ask for an ID to get in don't even look at the ID's. That includes work.

So, you were a baby when you went to Athens all the time...or you used to do those things as an adult?

Crap....I'm a Georgia fan and even I am tired of those jokes. Time to just let those die.

And the duplicate should be right next to sabans statue in the walk of champions.

I went when I was in High School, and really fit in

And the "for the most part" comment was because I don't trust anyone that hasn't shite themselves as an adult at least once.

Out of curiosity...where did you go to high School? I went up in North Georgia.

Whew! I'm in the clear, then!

I retired from an air line and years ago used to get in to work using everything BUT my ID. Forget it at home? no problem! Things have changed somewhat, now, though.

Chattooga High School. Played against you guys in 1974....more years than I like to think about!

Tell me about it. Like I said, though...it has changed since 9/11. Still not as tight as it should be...but much better. I remember one night (midnight shift) I left my ID at home and folded up a dollar bill in the size of the ID and stuck it up as we approached the gate....waved us right on through! That was back around 1980 or so, though.

wow - this stupid post actually made me check to see that I posting privileges.

Lived in Athens 6 years as a student (two degrees - that equals an instant doctorate at LSU) and as a contributing member of the local music scene. No one raped anyone in Athens during a hurricane when trapped in a crappy stadium (because its in the Big Easy! checked my :rimshot: ). I could go on about all the LA atrocities but - I've never been to LA and never lived there. Hanging in Athens for football games does not make you an arbiter of 'trash". I'm from Savannah - "the most beautiful city in America (sorry Charleston - NOT!), but even Charleston and Savannah have their "trashy sides".

Good lord ... I didn't even mention Baton Rouge (you're welcome).

Also - how'd our rapists work for you?

Athens is only trashy on gameday when you have fat men (who never made it past 9th grade) wearing tank tops barking in your face. Other than that, Athens is .
