Seriously??? The Denham Springs that is right next to BR? The one with a Bass Pro Shops...don't know how any town that has a BPS could be considered a small town

Just got back from a vacation in Highlands, NC and it was a cool little town. Better than any other I've been to in NC.
Highlands is the ghetto part of Tryon.
We used to come down the mountain to throw crumbs and pennies to the surfs down in Highlands.
Were you at Grandfather Mountain or actually just in Highlands?

Bay St. Louis, Ocean Springs, and maybe Natchez.

Oxford>Tupelo>anywhere in Bum Fuk Miss>Starkville
Been through Mississippi. I can't think of one good thing about Starkville, other than the Universities baseball games. Cowbells ruin y'alls football games IMO. Ill never go back in the fall... what a shithole.

Starkville is no where near that bad. The problem is Starkville is too much like dozens of other towns in the state and in the south.

Missouri has lots of great small towns. I'm partial to Cape Girardeau. Hermann would be a close second.

Hell, I don't know. We stayed in a place call " highlands" at the old edwards. We had our own private cottage on the property. It was nice and we had a good time. Guess I was just picking at crumbs though...

For Arky I would definately classify Fayetteville in this category and it would have to win. Great town. Hot springs is also cool.
