The only threat whatsoever I've made to kick somebody off is Barberitos and a small threat to tween the hedges, which I later said was a good poster and has done nothing to get kicked off.

I think your observations are accurate.

As to responding to attacks while on another team board I don't see any problem with it provided it is respectful. Constructive criticism or dialogue should be welcomed. Name calling and personal attacks going back and forth isn't going to make anyone happy when it is all said and done. Nor will it change anyone's mind about anything. I think the guest always has to be mindful of being in another's home. For me personally if I'm not getting along with someone in their home I'm at least leaving the room--I can let my opinions be known elsewhere. Discretion is the better part of valor.

I kind of have an issue with the principle that you are nice while you are on a team board but you can bash them all you want elsewhere. I've never really understood why you would want to gain access to a team board and then go out and talk trash about them behind their back so to speak. If you don't like them on some level why would you want to associate with them? But I understand others feel differently and it appears in general that it is okay to a degree (banter, responding to criticism, etc.) to talk unfavorably about a team outside of their board but if it is too much or too bad it just isn't going to work.

I agree team boards should get to decide their own rules for admission and banning (I would hope they would be fair and consistent) and that is why I didn't understand how the USCSB was allowed to hold votes on removing a board member while months previous the GSB was not permitted to do the same thing. Since it seems like a board administrator or administrators have the ultimate discretion and final say on whether to let a person on a team board or kick them off, I can't fathom what is wrong with having a system where board members are allowed to vote on the matter with the admin having the final say. This seems to be a much more democratic process than what you would usually see. This got discussed on another thread here weeks ago LINK but to this day I really don't know how Chicken et al view this issue.
