I just hope for an exciting Mizzou/Arkansas game resulting in a Mizzou victory to launch us into the SEC Championship game.

either 4-8 or 8-4.

I realize it might seem stupid to some, but I think we either gain some early momentum and win 8 or take some early tough, close losses and go into a tailspin.

just my opinion

I think this is the first time I actually took a look at Arky's schedule. That is a painful schedule. I think that Arky will be better and in the right direction, but that schedule itself seems to be a gauntlet.

I also hope the Arky/AU game being on the first weekend is not the start of anything. It is going to be hot as hell...

I hate conference games in the first week, so often teams are not as good as they are going to be that season which is why schools pay FCS/lower FBS teams big bucks to come taking a whipping in their stadiums (most times), same with big OOC matchups. Its more about who is more of a "team" that week than 3+ weeks later giving the team with more veteran players an advantage.

Yep and I don't remember the last time AU came out strong in the first game. I think it will go in Arky's favor. I could see it being a much closer game than some are thinking.

Arkansas has had the same problems in the past, Nutt's teams were never as prepared as they should have been, facing any team with a pulse it was either closer than it should have been or the margin of victory for the other team was multiples of what it would have been a few weeks later.

Although it has been only one opening game, Bert's team looked more prepared/ready last season against a decent ULL squad to open than any of previous HCs during our time in the SEC.

This game has been burnt into my soul LINK

So I am now scared of every 1st game of the season. Arky always plays us hard no matter what, so I am nervous about it.

Realistically 6 or 7 wins

If we beat Auburn though, I could see 10 or 11 wins

I have AR as one of my underrated teams in the SEC. I look for a bounce back year and for Christ sake, please get Hunter Henry the ball more often.

The thing about Hunter Henry is that he must learn how to use his feet. HE IS SO SLOW.

I have to imagine he was over thinking the position at most times. If I'm not mistaken, that was the first time he had ever played on the line. That's a pretty big adjustment from lining up out wide and running routes all game long.

12-0. Wins SEC championship, Sugar Bowl, Nat'l Championship. Final play the team ascends to higher plane of existence and defeats heavenly host by 2 tds.

Rant responds that Bert is still fat.
