I'd say my loyalties are to God first, my family second, and my country third. UGA has a significant place in my heart but to choose the university over my country just doesn't sit right with me.
Now... if it were something like the UGA football team against the USA team (if one existed?) then I'd pick UGA. But that stuff is for sports, only.

UGA doesn't confiscate half of your earnings every year. It doesn't make you sign up for selective service so that it can force you off to some foreign land to murder innocent people in a war to make bankers and defense contractors rich, if it feels like it. It also doesn't spy on you, harrass you with a zillion rules and laws, trample on your rights at every turn, or facilitate the killing of millions of unborn human beings ever year. All wHile the ones who make these rules ride around in bullet-proof airplanes/helicopters/limos wining and dining on your dime.
Now sUre, some of you go in debt to pay UGA for uselsess degrees, and that's unfortunate.........but at least UGA isn't spending so much that your great great grandchildren and beyond will be born as debt-slaves to pay off the bill....where they will live in conditions far worse than the ones you enjoy today. If there's anything left, that is.
