So, did he really jut duck under the tape to get to his car? If so that's a BS charge. But you still have to listen to what the cops say.

it is not a BS charge. They put the tape up for a reason and he in essence trampled on evidence. There was a shooting in this area and I am not sure whether people were hurt or not. So it is a big effin deal. And since he has been in trouble before, even though it was minor in nature, He best watch his effin step as he is probably in his NS dawg house and my guess he is looing at a one game suspension

According to BOL, cops told him he couldn't get to his car until the crime scene was released, he got upset, and entered anyway. If that's true, I have no sympathy for the kid whatever CNS decides to do and I'm a big fan of the kid.

If this is what happened then I agree..If you are too dumb to disobey a direct order from the TPD then you are just plain dumb. I follow a lot of the FB team on twitter and Drake post things daily but he has been very silent in the past 24 hours.

But I'll admit, I jumped all over Tony Brown when the initial reports came out then subsequent reports sounded much less damning so I'll reserve judgement til more info comes out.

This. I think it's important to look at the big picture and realize he could be more of a negative to the team in the future than he could be a positive. A bunch of little things add up when everything any player does is under a microscope. I hope he gets a chance to turn it around, but the risk has to be considered.

Something else to think about, even if this is dismissed it could foul up game prep depending on what kind of scene this was. He will be listed on a scene contamination log. That means subpoenas to court. If a judge or prosecutor wants to prove a point he could called to court everyday of a trial. That doesn't even take into account a defense attorney calling him for any number of reasons. He could miss classes, practices, meetings, or any number of events if this is the case. If he ignore any subpoena he will be looking at a bench warrant. Just for door thought.

If you have an opinion different from everyone else's, just own it. You talking out of both sides of your mouth is of little concern to me. I read this thread first then read the thread on the main board and pointed out the contradiction. I'm not going to read your whole post history looking for everything you've said about Drake.

I'm all for opinions differing from the status quo. I've expressed several in my post history. But I won't try to rewrite what I've said because posters disagree with me.

I didn't do that though. You took my "he needs to go now" thing on tRant too literally. My stance has been since I found out about this that he needs to be punished and that it may be for the good of the program if he's dismissed. I never said I wanted that. I said the opposite. What I want and what is ultimately best for the program do not always coincide.

That's all I'm going to say about that. Your post came off as hostile (doesn't mean it was intended to be) and I won't argue with you over a misunderstanding.

That's not a BS charge at all. He's an absolute idiot for compromising a crime scene where two people were shot AFTER he was told not to enter. I hope they tazed him just for being stupid.

I don't agree with the arrest at all. If drake had property they were withholding from him such as his car or whatever his business be then they need to check themselves. Police are there for your protection not for their own and for enforcement. I've never agreed with the term law enforcement. I have a big problem with authoirty and I think the justice system and the entire american political/economic system needs revamped.
