I doubt that his biggest hope is winning an egg. He has already won a much bigger contest in just his freshman year

My biggest issue. And even to this day, when that kid in his first every start at CB, ever in his entire careeer of football, shuts down Mike Evans, then shuts down OBJ. You were told something that you believed to be true and even if muffin told you himself, that doesn't make it true.

He was impressive at corner early. Where have I denied that? It's not like I started the "well he wanted a State offer" after he was successful at CB. I started it during his senior season of highschool -- when it's what he was actually saying to every state fan around Eupora that would listen.

Ultimately, he didn't get a State offer over speed concerns. Of course, we were recruiting him as a receiver, so...

Dak tried to come to OM but we didn't give him an offer. I know this for a fact. I've got many sources

"Well, we didn't really want Fletcher Adams. Not big enough for DT". "Yeah, talent in MS was really down this year -- I'm glad we are going out of state." "Yeah, Hibbler and Patterson are really the only decent players in the state this year." "Oh, for sure. Gene has been messing around with rankings again to get these other scrubs more stars." "Yeah, we're burying them with recruiting. Now that the 5th yr 2*s from the lowly-rated 2010 class are gone, we may never lose to them again."

I don't know, but you clearly do. You want everyone to think of you as some sort of authority on these sorts of things.

The "fact" that bama fans do not know who Cox is proves that wasn't as big a target as you like to think.

Wouldn't it also be plausible to assume they're acting like they didn't know who he was so that they don't have to admit they wanted someone that didn't end up there?

I honestly have a clue who the guy is. Alabama has five consecutive #1 classes. What would be the point of playing clueless over the recruitment of one DB?

To be honest it really doesn't matter if you know who the guy is. Your staff did. Enough to get him to visit three times right before signing day. If you feel like the fact that you didn't know who he was means the staff didn't want him then have fun.
