Apparently Lafferty had more to do with the north Florida pipeline, contrary to popular belief.

I hope you're right considering that area has really been good to us.

We played there a couple of seasons ago. They should be paying a visit to Oxford.

I think it's the start of a home - home series so they should be here in 2 years

This is the second home/home series we've done with them since McDonnell has been there... They took 2/3 from us in Oxford last time they came down... Can't remember what we did when we played them up there.

So, we hired Clement to replace Godwin.

@KendallRogersPG: Mike is a well respected hitting coach and will roll in recruiting RT @BowersIsTheBoss: @RivalsChase @KendallRogersPG Is this a good hire?

Looks like Mike landed another solid assistant. The guy's resume is pretty impressive. I don't know how closely A&M fans follow baseball on here, but I would like to hear what they have to say about him.

fricking love this hire. What notable players have we pulled from Texas other than Yarbrough?

Looks to be a solid hire. If we can recruit Texas as good as we do the Orlando area...

Does anyone have any information about why Dalton Dulin is leaving the program?

Everyone seems to think it's just a playing time thing ... I wouldn't be surprised if he transferred up here to Memphis... He'd definitely start a few years at 2B for the Tigers.. Chase Parham said it shouldn't have any negative affect with Bianco and his dad... He played as a freshman and he would've played as a soph ... Apparently, he just didn't want to be in a platoon type role and that's understandable.

It was only about playing time.

He would have been a pinch hitter for the rest of his career in Oxford. He doesn't have the tools to move anywhere else, and the OM MIF is about to get a lot deeper.

Brady Bramlett averaging 13.8 strikeouts per 9 innings in his summer league. He apparently struck out 11 in 6 innings tonight and has struck out double digit batters in his last 3 starts.

Did he redshirt this past year? I remember he got hurt back in 2013.

Will J is leaving and so is Bell

Will J to Tennessee to pursue his degree and focus on school. Bell wants to be an everyday shortstop somewhere.

Jamison could have possibly started and Bell wasn't likely to start. Both were likely to at least have a lot of PH opportunities. Our infield depth has taken a hit with Bell and Dulin leaving

Dulin would have been 3rd string at 2nd. Bell was a defensive liability but would have at least been in the 2 deep somewhere. The infield won't be affected as much as you think. There is depth coming in.

Yea i think he was going to be a great hitter. I think his decision to leave was a stupid one, but i still wish him the best of luck. Goodbye Ninja Turtle
