He may be sitting 3, but it may not be the first 3, not sure what the rest of the OOC looks like, we can assume the FCS and directional school will be two of them.

I think they are doing the first three games. If Kingsbury starts picking and choosing which games Bethel sits, he will take a big hit in the integrity ratings.

Tech plans to wear throwback jerseys for our game, and the tops will be black. We'll obviously be in our all whites.

Advantage: Arkansas

Look at what this dumb shite said:

quote:

On playing against Arkansas, which will present a slower offensive tempo:

“I really look forward to it. They want to slow the ball down, they can try but I mean the thing about this year is we’re going to set the tempo. First play, we’ll knock you 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and see if you still want to slow the ball down. Were going to make them change the way they play.”

- LB Sam Eguavoen

Looks like the Tech defense has a lot of confidence, for some reason.

They'll be psyched playing an SEC team and may play above their heads the first 2 or 3 series, but we will wear them down.

Texas Tech evidently rivals Alabama in defensive talent.

This is one of the funnier things I've seen all day. First play needs to go right at this idiot.

I'd bet the house on us to cover if they're giving us a less than 35% chance to win.

Bad match ups for both teams. Tech will try to air us out and we will try to run them over. If we can maintain possession and not have many 3 and outs or turnovers we should win. If we can't maintain possession we lose its as simple as that. I don't think our DB's will be able to hang with them, but the fact they lost their main receiving targets helps us a little. I'd feel much better about this game if it was a home for us instead of in Lubbock.

I won't be surprised if they set a bunch of passing records against us. My faith is very low against a team that loves to air it out.

We'll have to get enough pressure to disrupt their passing game somehow. We sure can't give guy time to sit back there and get comfortable.

In my opinion, this is a critical game for our season. Nobody is expecting us to beat Auburn (but I'm damned hopeful), if we can come out of the first four games 3-1, we can smell blood (bowl eligibility) with aTm coming up.
