Now if we get Kirk and Johnson or Chigbu that is going to be crazy good at WR.

I'm not understanding the logic so maybe I can get a explanation from an aggies poster. I understand taking Lodge he is great but why keep taking wr's when you need so much defensive help.

Recruiting junkie...do a little research into A&M's D history... Before you look stupid...'14 was the anomaly. We've had some avg to ruff yrs recently but we we're know formD in the 70's -90's.
Snyder did a masterful job in '12 with a solid group of Sr's and one jr stud and No depth.
We all knew last yrs D would struggle, but expect improvement going forward. ..and the recruiting is matching that.
LOTS of 4 *'s and a few 5 stars on D.

You cannot be this ignorant? It's not like we aren't taking defenders because of lodge. We have 25 spots not 1. You take all positions minus special teams yearly. Go look at A&M's roster and tell me how many WRs are on the roster. We have 4+ WRs on the field more times than not. We have to replace the players that leave the program whether it be through the draft or attrition.

We have had a higher than normal attrition rate at that position group. Mainly due to increase in competition level, but also (Williams/Larue) homesickness from OOS guy. We also had a WR go missing....literally(Johnson). Those were all 4* guys. Plus Evans leaving early for draft

Important to note that we don't play with a tight end or fullback often. So when other teams are recruiting TE's, we are recruiting extra WR's. We almost always have 3 WR on the field and often 4 WR. We currently have 10 on the roster for 2015 and need about 4 in this class.

Great pickup to go along with a nice class last year, but how long will it last without winning more SEC games

seriously?

I'm not sure why you're characterizing him as "lucky."
NFL scouts characterized him as such. Watch the film, throws later across body over the middle however hes very talented just had luck too. No problem with that. LSU knows luck they've got LES!

Bama squad and those ULSU tigers will no longer have a talent advantage to beat up on others.
talent isnt always an advantage. Coaching is the advantage. See Bama vs OU. Dont get caught up in the stars, the best DT of possible all time in LA HS football went undrafted last year after being the Gatorade HS player of the year. Megatron was a two star and so was brandon marshall for crying out loud

They avoided having to play SEC East Champs Mizzou last year. They got crappy UF & an injured UGA team.

So if you swapped the LSU defensive roster with the A&M defensive players from last year, you believe LSU would have been just as good or better defensively?

Talent is ALWAYS an advantage. Alabama/LSU in recent years have had a talent AND coaching advantage. Jury is still out on Sumlins coaching ability but the talent gap is shrinking and I dont think there is any way to debate that.
