Update: Took Fletcher out since DJ CB'd to State. As I said before, I believe we win the egg bowl an in doing so we get one of the three unlikely kids in Leo, Fletch, and Peters. Went with Fletch because he said we led, but have relaced him with USP's Henderson. I dont feel good about any of those three right now but it is still a long way until NSD. I have Henderson in instead of Ordway because at the moment I think it is a little too greedy to assume we take more than three of TN's best players in Richmond, McMillon, and Phillips. I do still believe that if you start getting a couple of these guys, then the others will probably follow, but trying to be a little pessimistic about how well we do in TN. If we just pull those three that would be our best TN class ever so it is even silly to call that pessimistic. Also dont forget that UT wants JC CB Justin Martin very much so as well, so I am still predicting to steal a good bit from the Vols this year.

It's also June so you know this list might change dramatically if we flop or if we shock the world.

Correct. This list is based on us going 8-4, 9-3.

Update: Moved Drew out. Just hearing not good things about him being more and more a sure bet to UT. Hopefully he will wait and see them not make it to another bowl game. It is looking like we are going to need to win 9 games to have a shot at Drew and McMillon, who we are really far behind on.

Why do you have Mykelti Williams at 80% but not in the final 10?

Because he's a back up plan.

Back up plan to who? Peters? I thought we weren't really going after him very tough. We just took a unranked guy(at the time) from FL, why would Williams be a back up plan?

There are some great prospect in that list on the OP.

I think SC is going after about 4 of those guys (Pellage, Womack, Jones and Roundtree.)

We probably don't have any shot with Roundtree.

If Pellage and Jones don't commit on their visit to fsu this weekend, we're still in it with them.

Womack has come into the picture late with us, but I reckon he'll be hard to pull out of MS.

His mom went to Ole Miss and his parents have been very vocal this week about Matt committing to Ole Miss soon

Update:

I've moved Womack out and replaced him with Champion. I really thought that the Womack recruitment would go to the very end, but after seeing what his dad said on 247, I am not so sure. Still a chance with him, especially if we beat the tigahs. With Champion, Yancy said someone is about to decommit because they jumped the gun and "have OM on their mind". The very next day an article comes out about Champion and the very first sentence is "I have OM on my mind". Not too difficult to figure out. We've always liked Champion but had Richmond, Womack, and Givens ahead. Since we are not getting Richmond or Womack, and because he did very well at our previous camp, I do believe we go after him pretty hard. I like our chances given that he is already considering decommitting and all the Callaway players we have on the roster.

I also added Mr. Leo Lewis. I didnt like the idea of having to flip a bama recruit, but now that he's back on the open market, it's pretty evident it's going to be an instate battle. State should feel good about their chances. He decommits at their camp, has listed them number 2 when committed to Bama, and are losing probably the first MLB to go in the draft. They have one of his closest friends committed. But Leo left Starkville for Oxford the very next day. This is going to be a bidding war. I like our chances given that they already have Peters. No way our we let them have Leo too. As I've said before, I think we get one of three between Leo, Peters, and Adams due an egg bowl victory. I dont think there is any doubt that if today was NSD then Leo is a dawg. We have work to do, but I believe it get$ done

I really want to replace Barnes with Ordway, but feel our class would be a little out of balance if we landed two HS corners along with a juco corner. Plus I see Henderson ending up at CB as well. I do like our chances with Cam and wouldnt be surprised if he finds his way into the boat.

I think we end up with Peters and Lewis along with Washington and Champion. I think Champion is the first to jump ship.

Still confident on Champion I see.

I saw him at the MSU/USM game. Hes a big boy who is an ideal SEC OT.

I have absolutely no inside knowledge, but I'd admittedly love to land him.

Him, Richmond and Patterson would make this class a huge success, IMO.

Would also prefer to hold onto Amadi.

The Final 10
1. Tommy Champion 3* OT
2. Javon Patterson 4* OG
3. Martinas Rankin 3* OT JC
4. Alex Givens 3* OT
5. Drew Richmond 4* OT
6. Cameron Ordway 4*
7. Kyle Phillips 4* DE
8. Leo Lewis 4* MLB
9. Tony Bridges 4* CB JC
10. Desmond Tucker 3* DT

If we take all 10 of these guys, we would end up with a 247 ranking of 243.14. Which would put us at 10th in the nation right now. This is without us losing any other players.

There has been a lot of action on Ordway the last month or so and it all is favorable to us.
