The same could be said for acting ability, but Cuba Gooding Jr. still has an Oscar whether a bunch of sister fricking Arkies realize it or not.

I live in Shangri-La buddy. In the mountains. Not in that flat dusty hellhole you call a state.

Yes it is.

If I told you the flagship of Oregon was UO, but then you came along and cited some legislation from the 1800s that said there were actually TWO flagships in Oregon, guess what? My perception doesn't change. I still think of Oregon as the flagship.

Same goes for UT.

Luckily no one in Texas gives two fricks what someone from Arkansas thinks. Thanks for your interest, or supposed lack there of, in our program.

So you counted 7 players back after you signed 33?

You may want to check your numbers.

The fact that your perception is rooted in ignorance to the fact that our country's education system is decentralized (different states have varying approaches to ed), doesn't make your flawed views any less incorrect.

I broke my personal rule of not reading your posts.
Serves me right, I guess.

You may want to check your numbers. A&M signed 31 in 2013, of which 6 counted back to 2012 and 2 counted back to 2011. That leaves 4 that we were able to count back of the 22 we signed in 2014.

Just because we had 7 early enrollees doesn't mean that all 7 counted back.

Kohl Stewart (MLB draft) and Cedric Collins (injury) are the only players we sent LOIs to that we KNEW wouldn't play.

I'm from Texas (Houston) and have been here my entire life. The flagship will always be UT. The kids in '16 are much different then 15. I predict UT will much closer in recruiting (if not winning) in '16, '17 and '18.

Please commence the slow, methodical torturing of me now.

In other news Israel is arse fricking civilians, por que? They just want their olive trees. Why not fight fire with fire and fight a proxy war and save face? Go Barack!

The flagship in every way when I was in school, including academics (2000 graduate) was A&M. They freaked out when US News ranked A&M higher than texas my senior year (top 40 IIRC). That was before they even became AAU.

This is just factually incorrect. It isn't a matter of opinion, both UT and A&M have been deemed by the state legislator as flagship universities in Texas and have been for over a century. It's the reason they are the only two university systems in the state that receive the PUF fund. If you go to the public education section of Texas.gov, both are listed as flagship universities.

This isn't some sort of internet debate, it's a matter of historical and legal record.
