Here's a question, how many P5 teams are starting on the road vs a ranked opponent this year? Are Arkansas and us the only ones?

Isn't W Virginia at Bama?

eta: nope. It's at Atlanta.

(I also noticed [while looking up the WVA/Bama game] that Clemson opens at Georgia; and Ok State & FSU have a neutral site opener in Arlington)

Does Wisconsin playing LSU in Houston count?

For the "on the road" requirement I'd say no, it probably isn't used in that statistic

That's going to be a very pro LSU crowd, but I guess it is different from playing on campus

So unfortunate. Both powers in their respective conferences and you know both crowds would be pumped if it were a home and home. Especially if Wisconsin got someone of LSU's quality to go up to Madison

Well... Has anyones predictions on the season changed?

I'm still not sure if that was a swing game but winning that game in that fashion sure gives a different outlook on the season.

All I know is that Sumlin is a damn road warrior.

I know mine have concerning both teams. I havnt seen anything from the other west teams that make me beleive aTm won't be in good position to take the west this year. Only hurdle I see is lsu and they may be focused more on the barners and bammers.

Hill was a giant surprise and he will only grow stronger in the saddle of the offense. bama and auburn seems weaker on defense and lsu seems not up to par on offense.

For the record this isn't some "you beat us and now your the greatest" homer talk, but actually thought process from what I have seen from the other western teams.
