Anyone enjoy stopping at a new fast food place when you see it? I certainly do. What are some of your favorites? I had a steak n' shake one time that was fantastic.

(so if any of you can tell me if you have ever tried bojangles chicken and biscuits, I have been on the fence about stopping there the next time I run into one)

Bojangles is good but I prefer Popeyes. We were in North Carolina for a family reunion a couple of years ago and picked some up

If you are in Houston El Rey is the best fricken fast food in the entire galaxy. Ropa Vieja platter out the drive thru is unbelievable.

It saddens me that Louisiana doesn't have Taco Cabana or Taco Beuno, at least not where I live.

Seriously? I used to stop there back in college on road trips to watch LSU. Went back as an adult a year or so ago out of nostalgia. It was some of the worst tasting shite I've ever had. Chili and the hamburger party were like low grade dog meat.

I really wanted to try Pollo Tropical when I was in Miami but I didn't have time and/or forgot

Place isn't that good man. Got one less than 5 minutes away from the house. I try and avoid it at all costs. Burgers are good at 1 AM, but their fries suck and are some of the worst.

Also located less than 5 minutes from my house, about 200 yards from Steak n' Shake. And sadly, it is no better. Quality of food is okay I guess, especially for fast food, but just doesn't have the taste to ever make me want to go there.

Had Shake Shack when in DC, was pretty disappointed. The person I was with hyped it up too much I guess.

I have had bojangles. It is awesome for a fast food brunch type meal. Nothing like chicken & biscuits as u drive through S Carolina towards the coast.

Sorry but I disagree with all of the people bad mouthing Steak N' Shake. I love that place... the burgers, fries, chili 3-way, and shakes are all legit, IMO. I stop at the ones in Covington and Mobile every time I pass through and they've always been stellar. They were supposed to build done in the Livingston/BR area but I guess the deal fell through.

Other favorites of mine include Milo's and Eat N' Park.

Before they made the one on Sherwood, I used to be pumped to hit up the Dairy Queen in Vidor on the way to Houston.

Not necessarily a fast food restaurant but I get super excited when I see a Buc-ee's.

Bojangles is probably better than Popeyes wherever you run into it. Popeyes is mediocre outside of Louisiana.

I remember eating at a Roy Rogers up in Philly that wasn't bad. I couldn't tell you what I had, probably a chicken sandwich.

It was when I was a kid.

About all I can think of off the top of my head.
