That would be a very solid team with a high ceiling.

I'd swap out Taco and Jackson though, Taco is our top MLB prospect for 2016 and we need a lefty starter. His potential is much higher.

I'll be interested to see what happens with Wilkerson. He could be a victim of the numbers, but he really came on late in hoover and in the tourney. Could get some OF/DH spot duty if he stays

He flashed some potential, would like to hang on to him if possible.

We need to get a summer ball update thread going, a lot could ride on that in terms of staying or being asked to transfer.

Any word on Gunn or Beeks? Seems they were drafted kinda low, certainly not high enough to get a bonus that basically covers the down payment on a new Tahoe.

I hear Beeks is gone, no chance. Already reporting to Red Sox Short Season team the Spinners.

Haven't heard on Gunn but expect him to sign as well.

I'll assume they tired of DVH's shite and paying out of pocket to play NCAA baseball.

The money Beeks and Gunn will get now would be better than the 10k or so as seniors.

FAYETTEVILLE — Former Arkansas pitcher Jalen Beeks was introduced at the media day for the short-season Boston Red Sox affiliate in Lowell, Mass., on Wednesday.
Beeks, who was drafted by the Red Sox in the 12th round of last week's MLB Draft, will begin his professional career playing for the Lowell Spinners. His contract terms aren't yet known.

So, Poche got an invite to the Cape this summer.

That's hard to believe because he got shelled later in the year. Van Horn alluded to him maybe having some sort of injury though.

We are also sending Killian to the Cape.

Read an article with some Van Horn quotes and he sure didn't give Gosser a vote of confidence by some of his statements. I was surprised because I think Gosser was a main cog in why we won 4 of our 5 games after regular season play. Plus, I know and like Alex. Good kid from good family.

So we have a legit pitcher down in West Memphis, the Fenter kid. He is apparently the #20 prospect in the nation. I know his sister Shelby, she just graduated from Ole Miss(she pitched there after coming from JUCO) so now he is committed there. Either way, doesnt sound like a kid that would make it to campus being the #20 prospect. Crazy that I didn't know he was this good until today though. He played ball with my little brother.

@JSully12: Luke Bonfield going to school. That type of bat doesn't make it to school often. Was a top 5 pure hitter on the showcase circuit last year.

@KendallRogersPG: Big news for #Arkansas: OF Luke Bonfield (Ranked No. 60 nationally), announces he'll join the #Hogs, turning down @Mets. @PerfectGameUSA

@HogSportsTalk: Philly scout "@JSully12: Luke Bonfield and Blake Wiggins? Wow. Some impact hitters coming into Arkansas.”

Did Hentges sign? The article about the Hog's recruits in the draft didn't mention him.
