Try again. Since 2010, uga has pulled a grand total of 2 tn recruits, both three stars. Meanwhile, just last year, we pulled a top 10 and a top 25 out of ga, both 4 stars, as well as a few more. And we also beat ya'll for josh Malone and every other tn top 10 recruit.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

That's a terrible comparison.

Godwin is not a better WR than Williams.

Godwin is a great receiver, but he's definitely not better than Williams. Williams is big and fast (highlight tape is amazing), which is a very good combo. Godwin has some good tape as well too.

All I know is Godwin has never been handled in a competitive situation. He doesn't have the measurables Williams does, but in every game, 7on7, camp, etc. he destroys people.

All I said was it's debatable.

Composite rankings backup my opinion

Williams is the best WR in the country.

Rivals hasn't properly evaluated him yet. As soon as they do, Williams will be number one composite.

Sorry UT landed Williams, the best WR in your state, but don't whine about it. UGA will never have a shortage of talent.

Williams is the #1 WR on 247 and Scout, and the #2 WR on ESPN. Yet he's only the #16 WR on Rivals and not even in the Rivals100. That's a load of shite and the only reason his composite is dragged down.

ETA- I'm not trying to shite on Godwin, he's gonna be a stud imo. But I'll take a 6'4 AJ Green/Justin Hunter hybrid over a 6' 160 pound reciever all day. Seems like most of the experts would too

I personally think Preston is in class by himself at WR this year with the exception of George Campbell.

Yeah, him and Campbell are the top 2. Deon Cain is rising up there too, he'll be a 5* when the AA week comes around.

How am I whining? I just stated an opinion. I think Williams is a fantastic prospect.

Campbell got them brick hands bro. He's a ridiculous athlete but there's a reason he's listed at ATH and not WR.

Campbell should be classified as an ATH until he learns to catch. He's best at safety at this point.

Unbelievable athlete, but very inconsistent pass catcher

You're not really whining. You're rationalizing losing the best WR prospect in the country (Tyron Johnson is up there too) by saying he's equal to a 6ft ATH. I could be wrong but I think the majority opinion everywhere is that Williams is better.

ETA: I guess you can't really "lose" what you never had, my b on that one.

I'm not rationalizing anything. I just shared my opinion of the two players. I think both are great prospects, but I don't think it's as clear cut as others. I don't care if that's not the majority opinion.
