CIYE was just banned from the UGA board. They wanted to "get even" and banned Carolina101 for the banning of Jefferson, however with the CIYE banning I believe that makes it 2-1. I'm considering going eye for an eye on 'em and dropping one of the UGA posters from this board.

which, oddly enough, also got CIYE banned.
i dont think it had anything to do with jefferson as that happened a while ago, right? Plus, DGD is not in cohoots with jeff.

UGA posters have made a big stink of the jefferson situation recently, and its part of the reason I was denied access to the GSB

no it wasn't...it had more to do with garnetway, CNB, and 101 being in the middle of a shitfest thread on our board in the offseason. it rattled the natives, which included jeff, but your denial was not related to jeff's banning.

Heres the help board thread I started last week to gain access to the UGA board. You can skim through it and see several references to jefferson

bdv started a vote thread for me over there yesterday (which I apprecaite, thanks bdv) but DGD deleted it already. I doubt I was getting approval from the vote, but it seemed like a hasty delete, just like CIYE's band seems like a hasty ban.

Maybe, it was definitely Jefferson and his alters & cronies who got all up in a hissy. They wanted to ban me for a long time.
However, this was pretty funny. A few alters over there screamed for an admin and more control over the board's posts. They demanded more governance. I basically said that it was a bad idea, and if those guys desperately wanted an admin still I would be the Admin, but I had 3 platforms.
1. They can post whatever they want.
2. I'm not going to ban anybody and I'll make fun of them if they ask.

I thought this was a strong message to campaign on.
Peter Buck did not, he said I was just going to make fun of him on our board. (he was right.) I called him out for staying up Friday night on here lurking the SC Board to find my posts and post them on the uga board. I told him how sad that is, but like real life sad. I recommended that he get a girl instead of doing that.
...and for that, I was banned.
It's all good, there's no need to sweep the uga posters from this site b/c there's a few spoiled children on the other board.
Years ago I joined dawgrant to talk smack with uga fans. Then that site merged with this site. Now if I want to talk smack, I can still do it on the SECr. The landscape changed, so I couldn't post things on new their board like I used to.
It was pretty funny how I didn't post anything mean spirited there for years, but a few were dying to get me banned. I guess the old scars never healed and that some old posts were even more pungent than I thought.
ETA: For when Peter Buck copies/pastes this to the other board this Friday night: If I was any more in your head, my foot would be sticking out of your arse. It's a message board, you're taking this MUCH to seriously.

They banned him because they were flipping shite over Gamecock fans defending our team in an SC thread on the UGA board.
Then they (primarily Buck, Floyd, and Jefferson) started flipping shite about something completely unrelated (me being an admin so not needing to be voted in to post on the team boards) and started bringing up Jefferson getting voted off our board so they needed to have a similar policy. I defended myself and the whole thing went up in flames. Since they couldn't ban me because of being an admin they went with Carolina101 because he was also in that thread.
Now they ban any Gamecock fan with any sarcastic / snide remark and just kicked CIYE off.
So like I said, we might have to go an eye for an eye. I know Floyd checks this board on a regular basis so he can run back to the UGA board and tell all his friends what is going on here. He, and a few others, really and truly take this board thing way too seriously. It's a shame he can't defend himself on here.. to be the life of a 1%er.

I meant against the non-protected teams. I still took a swing at lsu, but actually it was very subtle yet informative about a policy a lsu student wanted, which would create a bike sharing program. I said that program could stop the players from stealing bikes (2 players in the past 3 months.) That thread got the axe before pg 2, but I'm still here!
