Hightower, Upshaw, and Kirkpatrick have been disappointments?
Dont'a Hightower will see his snaps reduced for New England in 2014, Courtney UpShaw has a whopping 3 sacks in his career and is currently a back-up for Baltimore, and Dre Kirkpatrick has had injury problems yet looked good in limited action for Cincy. Dee Milliner started off the year bad and got benched, but finished strong for New York. Marcel Dareus is doing exceptional in Buffalo. Eddie Lacy is a badass for Green Bay. Trent Richardson has been a bust for Indy, and likewise for Mark Ingram with New Orleans. Kareem Jackson hasn't been bad, but hasn't been what Houston thought. Terrance Cody is a fat tub of lard and had bust written all over him. Julio Jones is one of the best wide receivers in the league. Rolando McClain is a headcase and full blown bust.

I'm cool, I know.

Weird that he singled out Barron. He's been solid as hell.
Agreed.

Plus, it's easy to look bad every now and again when you have to play against Drew Brees and Cam Newton.

It is a good discussion topic. Y'all never go about the topic the right way though. We're sensitive dammit. Plus, none of y'all even tried to have real conversation about it.

Let's be honest here is there ever a good time to discuss bad news?

Except it's more like a 30:70 ratio.

Kiper said it. That makes it a joke. Case closed.

How many of those guys besides Mc Clain are out of the league? You can say what you will about Cody but he must be doing something right he is still there.
If they all sucked so bad they would be gone. And several of them are starters.

Not sure what the formula is for determining disappointments but Bama has had 18 or so defenders drafted since 2009 and they're all still in the league, except for McClain.

Do you think our percentages based on the comments about the players you posted is worse than most other teams in college?

But he was an afterthought.....

Otherwise this thread wouldn't have been started by an Auburn fan on the SEC Rant.

bullshite.

It's about what Mel Kiper said about fmr Alabama players, which made it relevant to both the Bama Board and the SEC Rant.

And since I wasn't allowed access to the Bama Board....here you go.

I agree...hell, I'll even add Mark Ingram since he was in beastmode the 2nd half of last season when actually got to run the ball...
