If you start in the NFL, it isn't a disappointment, no matter where you were drafted.

Not true.

Your hate for Auburn has blinded your search for the truth.

Now that just doesn't support the theme here. He really is made to look like a fool every draft. Surprising that he keeps coming back.

If you are a first round pick and the only think they can say about you is that you start, you are a disappointment.

Williams, 2005 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, never sucked. He was injured.

Brown has been a Pro-Bowler on a team that sucked. And he led them to the playoffs by running the wildcat.

Check.

I saw a stat not long ago that put Kareem Jackson up near Richard Sherman

was it age? Not really many others. Sherman had more picks this year than Kareem has had in his career.

Weird that he singled out Barron. He's been solid as hell.

Yeah I'm not sure what the end game is here. Bama always has a top defense, who cares what they do when they play for the frickin Raiders.

I think he is just saying that bama players have been rated higher than they should the last several years. It is hard to argue with that, unless you are a bama fan. There have been some bama players who are playing solid, but very few are playing up to their draft position.

Can we get Kiper Jr.'s take on the upcoming Arkansas fan draft?

John Chavis's defenses play top 10 ball, and his guys perform in the NFL.

Yet Bama still get the recruits every year.

If that's the case, then it just means the scheme they were playing in college is superior. Either way, it doesn't say anything about Alabama or Saban. To say that these players suck when they get to the NFL doesn't negate the fact that they were great in college.

Are any draftable? They may have to go play in the Canadian/Arena league for a year or two.

I'm a Bama fan and I say that is a positive thing if true. Not only is Saban doing more with less, he is also getting guys drafted higher$$ than they should.

I don't like Bama any more than the next guy, but forgive me if I don't put a ton of stock into a guy who had Jimmy Freaking Clausen as the #1 QB and #4 overall prospect in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Bama flops:
McClain
Cody

Bama average:
Kirkpatick
Upshaw

Bama decent to good:
Hightower
Barron
Jackson

Too early to tell:
Milliner

(Probably forgetting some players that Bama fans can update on, but 2 flops out of 6 1st or 2nd rounders isn't horrible)
