I broke it down by how many individual from a school have been in the top 5.

Interesting notes:

-Alabama is the only school in the top 4 to not have a rusher land on the list more than once.

-Darren McFadden was the only rusher to make the top 5 three times.

-Kentucky is the only school to not have a rusher in the top 5 in the last 10 years.

Alabama - 7

Shaud Williams – 1
Kenneth Darby – 1
Glen Coffee – 1
Mark Ingram – 1
Trent Richardson – 1
Eddie Lacy – 1

Not sure what you consider a top rusher, but Ciatrick Fason led the conference in rushing in 2004.

The one thing that's consistent no matter the coaching staff. We always tend to have a strong running game. Even under Mike Shula.

Explosive play calling, but could get predictable. I would take Coach McElwain back in a second. I'll wait and see with Kiffin.

If he loses or at least lessons the fumbling issues this year, I see no reason why he shouldn't reach 1300 yards. I'd put him over Trent, but Mark has a heisman and Alexander is probably the GOAT RB at Bama.

Alexander and Humphrey as every down backs. The wishbone era produced dominating attacks but no single rusher had eye-popping statistics.

If Yeldon had out his fumbling issues behind him, he's better than Ingram and right there with Richardson in the Saban era.

For as good as Nussmeier was, I was surprised at how Bama still couldn't get the TEs involved in the passing game.

A freak of a TE was criminally under-used last year.
