smartest thing you've ever done. If you really love her you'll come around and join the good side eventually.

If we're willing to accept you. Which may be tough considering your background.

I've always had UGA as my second favorite team. Ever since 2010, it seems that UGA has grown a little more bitter towards AU.

And you're both wrong. I don't have the time right now for that discussion though. Maybe tomorrow! It can continue the daily UGA/AU fighting that's taken place the last few days.

I can't wait to see what Friday has in store.

2010 you say? Hmmm...wonder why that is.

Why does your entire fanbase struggle so much with basic logic and reading comprehension? I am over it, YOU are the one who brought up 2010 as a year where the rivalry turned, and I alluded to the fact that there is a clear reason for that. That's how most discussions like this work, point, counterpoint, etc.

I don't actually; have several Auburn friends. Quite a few Auburn and alumni and fans in general in Georgia. Having said this, here are the likely logical reasons:

1. The infamous turning the fire hoses on Georgia fans @Auburn in the freezing cold weather in 1986. LINK
2. Auburn's close proximity to the state line means Auburn poaches Georgia recruits routinely.
3. The schools have the oldest and most evenly matched rivalry of any SEC schools.
4. In spite of the seemingly evenly matched programs, Auburn has had recently NC success while UGA hasn't had a NC since 1980.
Edit:
5. Auburn is officially the dirtiest program in the SEC. Nick Fairley got away with abusing Aaron Murray in the 2010 Auburn win. Cam Newton should not have even been playing since his Dad publicly admitted soliciting his son's services for money and the NCAA basically swept it under the carpet.

This is pretty much how my UGA friends are who graduated from UGA. Our group of friends wasn't alive in 1980. So everything was cool until 2010 and then after last year they seemed pretty chapped

For some reason there is a select handful of you on here though that just act like complete shitheads.

Every team on here has that, with a few exceptions. It is more visible to the rival teams though. UGA fans dont care about the shitty Arky, Miss State, Ole Miss etc. fans. Since Auburn and UGA are rivals it makes it much more apparent.

In the end, who gives a shite, we all have those assholes in our fanbases. Ignore them and move on (not addressed specifically to WG).

I am born and raised in Ga and live here now. I don't hate UGA but I do want to beat them every year.

I was happy that they won. I was more chapped that it looked like Cam got away with getting paid close to $200,000 while AJ had to sit for being honest with the NCAA and Fairley cheap shotting Murray. Both of which I do not care about anymore.

Yeah, Auburn winning a natty has nothing to do with UGA's animosity (if anything, it only made us more aggravted at McGarity and Richt). The increased bad blood between the fanbases has everything to do with 1.) the head-in-the-sand defense of Fairley and 2.) Auburn almost certainly using some not-so-kosher tactics to get ahead (admittedly, this probably has more to do with jealousy than it does with a holier than thou approach - at least IMO).

That's a very good point and I agree. However, I personally don't see any other fanbase with such a skewed perception of reality re: UGA as yall. I don't see any other fanbase claim something when the exact opposite is true. Y'all continue to claim, and have for a while, that we are obssessed with AU and are "butthurt" (geez I wish that phrase would go away), when in reality it's yall that are starting the threads and kicking up the hornets nest.

That's pretty clearly a response thread to this one.

Kick hornets nest, UGA fans respond, "they so mad"

Eta- and the guy who started that second thread has a few screws loose, I think
