You got to include Joe Namath if you're going that route.
Alabama:
Kate Jackson from "Charlie's Angels" (also an Ole Miss grad)
Richard Tyson - "Buddy Revell" in 3 O'Clock High

I think this picture shows you where his SEC allegiances lay.

Elvis is a MS native, so is Oprah, but Oprah claims Chicago as her home, which is fine with me. I've seen both birth homes. The Elvis home is a museum in Tupelo. As an entertainer, Memphis was home to Elvis. Tenn can claim that.

Sela Ward was a cheerleader at the University of Alabama. Shouldn't they claim her?
Yes, I think we will go ahead and claim her.

I still say Michael Biehn is the best actor from Alabama.
1. Terminator - Kyle Reese
2. Aliens - Corporal Hicks
Does he need anymore? I'd call those two roles a fulfilled career.

Shawn Weatherly - first season cast of Baywatch. she complained they they had too many scenes in skimpy bathing suits, so the writers fed her character to the sharks.

This has to be literally the first time any state wanted to claim Meridian. Such is the power of the Sela, I guess.

Meridian is nowhere near the worst town in MS or AL. At least there's MSU Riley Center which is gorgeous and gets nice concerts over there.

Also played good roles in 'The Lords of Discipline' and 'The Abyss.'

This has gone on for 7 pages and none of the Florida fans have mentioned Stephen Root?
He grew up in Florida, got his degree from UF, and been in what seems like every movie/tv show since the 90s

Actually he does. He's said many times the "Stephen Colbert" on his show is a character.
Yeah it's going to be weird to see him out of character when he takes over Letterman. Going to shock a lot of people. And I believe Colbert has done some smaller roles on TV / film. Including a cameo in the Hobbit.
