He had to really rebuild 2 years ago, then this year his 5start recruit transfers before the season, and he has like 8 players to play with. If he stays UTEP will do really well next year.

He took UNO to the tournament twice. He had multiple twenty win seasons at Iowa State and won the conference championship before coaching the Chicago Bulls and the Hornets. He then went to USC, went to a couple tournaments there and won the PAC tourney. But yeah, he hasn't done crap at UTEP.

Floyd could be a great hire, if Alden overlooks allegations that Floyd gave cash to person involved with Mayo. Floyd has more NCAA tournament experience than Haith, better coaching abilities, and can recruit (possibly convince Tim Fuller to stay on staff). If Anderson is hired Fuller is gone that simple. I believe I posted Floyd being a candidate before the media could pickup on it, there source was probably me . If that's the case my sources are still telling me Alden will break the bank and hire Marshall. Marshall's March to the Final Four!

Dude is a cheater tho. I don't understand why Kentucky fans have a problem admitting it. Some of us know UK's history. Y'all make Auburn look good.

I think it is more of realization that CBB in itself is easily the dirtiest sport there is and there are a lot of guys out there that have done things much worse than what Cal's teams got in trouble for.

He had a player take money from an agent and played an eligible future NBA MVP, but people act like they are the most egregious acts in CBB history.

Oh Cal's far from the worst and cbb is a cesspool, I've just never understood the sensitivity over it. I think that's why y'all get teased about it so much, tbh.

UTEP knows its basketball, and they're great at IDing coaching talent.
I'd be good with any of their hoops coaches.

Dan Wetzel knows nothing.

All of us know nothing.

Alden has this search locked down tighter than a drum.

What's wimp Sanderson up to these days? Maybe he'd listen to a Mizzou offer.

Yep. Nobody knows anything, the govt could learn something about keeping secrets from this. Everybody is repeating rumors. There is lot's going on but nobody knows what it is and won't until they announce it.

ETA There hasn't been one damn credible leak

I know who Wimp Sanderson is. I was making a joke. Do you know who Kim Anderson is? Because that's who a large section of our fan base wants.
