But not denying the truth. There are graduates of AL that are very concerned about how the school is trying to grow. Some of these are HS Counselors who see it first hand.

It disproves the OP. That's all that's really needed here.

I'm sorry, let be more clear
by stupid I meant that everything you wrote was bullshite, that you have a weird obsession with Alabama being a corrupt academic institution that only exists to to graduate, in your mind, less intelligent people and your need to feel superior to a school's students and alumni over a sports team is pathetic

Stassen is working again...
1983-1999
Alabama 141-65
Auburn 139-56
This includes Alabama's 9 forfeited games in 1993 (wins turned to losses).

We vacated wins in 2005, 2006, and part of 2007.
Wasnt Saban coach in 2007? Why did he have to vacate wins?

Wallace Wade was the first great era. He put Alabama on the map, from 1923-1930 he went 61-13 and brought Alabama the first Rose Bowl wins of any southern school.
That was good for 3 Conference Championships. Winning the Conf. almost half the years is impressive
quote:
Frank Thomas succeeded him and went 115-24-7 from 1931-1946. He won two more Rose Bowls and had a certain young coach on his staff.
Very impressive record. That got you 4 SEC Championships in 16 years.

Alabama was solid through the mid-1950s under Harold Drew. He was 54-28-7 from 1947-1954
1 SEC Championship and 2 losing seasons

Ears Whitworth is the first "down period" from 1955-1957.
I would say so. Dude went 4-24-2
quote:
Paul Bryant took over in 1958 and coached until 1983. His record of 232-46-9 speaks for itself.
Proves my point about a great era.
quote:
Alabama was again solid throughout the 1980s, under Perkins and Curry
Curry was Co-Champ one year but couldn't beat Auburn with a broom.
quote:
under Perkins
Perkins had a nice little run but couldn't get bama over the top. 0 Conf. Championships.
Again, Stalling's had a few good years but things that happened under him crippled the program.
Then it was pretty much a shite show until saban got there.....era #2.

The same players using their book scholarships illegally in 2005 and 2006 were on the team in 2007.

The new bama mantra. Keep denying, but those in the know talk freely about it. It is not corrupt to report numbers to USNWR that help propagate the Presidents Mission. The concern among some alumni is that over 50% of the student body is from out of state. They fear that these students are academic mercenaries, and when the money dries up so will the student population. This would leave an infrastructure for 30K Students with only 20K candidates. Long term results would be a permanent watering down of the academics.

If that's your definition of an "era", Auburn doesn't have any.

dear god man you will ride a shitty opinion right into the mouth of hell won't you?

Well, what is the overall record? You saying that doesn't answer the question. 1983-1999, what was the overall record for each school?
It's interesting to see people who attempt to argue a rivals unquestionably loftier accomplishments instead of being content with the accomplishments of their team, which is pretty good itself.
