Teams generally play their best in rivalry games.

Hill didn't do shite against Auburn.

Then why did he have 2 runs that added up to 103 yards?

Les Miles is 7-2 against Auburn while Saban will have a losing record to Auburn after this year.

What is the missing ingredient that Saban is missing?

I'm sure this has already been stated, but why is Saban at Alabama 14-0 versus Arkansas and Ole Miss compared to Les Miles's 8-6? May I remind y'all that LSU struggled with 2010/2012 Ole Miss and 2013/2014 Arkansas. The latter 3 all finished with 4 wins or fewer. What's the deal?

So he built a better program at LSU than what he's done at UA?

What a stupid rebuttal. If you really want to go there, then what does that say about Les Miles's regime considering they've had less success than Saban's Alabama?

Miles definitely has a horseshoe up his arse when it comes to us. Man must be living right.

Alabama's hasn't struggled with shitty Auburn and Tennessee teams. The rivalry excuse isn't strong enough, but if others insist, then this thread shouldn't exist. The Iron Bowl is one of the SEC's greatest rivalries when both teams are good. Arkansas hasn't been good the last 2 seasons. When's the last time LSU and Ole Miss were very good in the same year? 2003?

Auburn and Tennessse haven't really been on the same level during Nick's time at Bama.

Intensity of Alabama - Auburn rivalry

I get what you're saying but as a long time observer, LSU/AU is as hard hitting as it gets, for whatever reason.

Les is a better coach on the old football triangle. Duh.

Truth is Saban is no gump. He is obsessed with LSU (as much as LSU fans are obsessed with him), not Auburn, and the Forrests and Jennays of the world are in denial that he isn't one of them.

The Bear wouldn't let Nick take out his trash. Fact.

This. It's the same reason we somehow played FSU closer last year than Clemson did.
