If recruiting in the state of Georgia turns out as it appears now, the UGA meltdown on this board will be beautiful to watch around signing day

How so? UGA would have landed Trent Thompson, Terry Godwin, Rashad Roundtree, Natrez Patrick, Roquan Smith, Jonathan Ledbetter, Chauncey Rivers, and others. Disastrous I tell you

If signing day was today, they would both likely sign with UGA. Neibuhr (AU 247) even agrees

Where did you see that? Obviously on 247 but where did he post it.

Last time I saw he predicted us to get Roquan

The new Roquan Smith article today's comments. He also changed his crystal ball prediction this morning.

Ledbetter has been trending toward Georgia for a month or so

How so
Because you wouldn't get any of the top 0L in the state, any of the top wide recievers in the state except the Owens kid you already have, any of the top defensive backs except Roundtree, any of the top running backs in the state, and you would split the top defensive lineman

Possible Cole Minshew and Mike Horton

You forgot Godwin

None of the top DBs, except the best one

There's probably 20 SEC caliber defensive linemen in Georgia this class, so yes, we will split them up.

247 sports is the best service for recruiting in my opinion. If you go by their current rankings, Georgia will likely lose 5 out of the top 6 in state players and possibly as many as 6 or 7 of the top 10

Try again. We have Godwin committed and Thompson is a heavy lean. We also have a punchers chance at flipping Edoga and Williams.

It's April. Get back to me in February.

Godwin is ranked 7th in 247's Georgia rankings. As I said, you will likely lose 5 out of the top 6 players

Oh, I thought you meant the composite, which most people use.

The fact that they don't have Godwin as one of the top 6 players in the state is just plain incorrect, but that's an argument for another day.

Anyways, I've got to peace out. In the end I'm confident that I'll be pleased with UGA's class, and fans of other schools will tell me how they "raided" the state. Like always.

I look at the Composite rankings and we look pretty good for 5 or 6 of the top 10.

If Carr goes to UGA, Friend's not just going to stick him at tackle even if he sucks at it. He'll end up at guard most likely.

He will be, that is what we are recruiting him as, with a shot at RT if he can win the spot. We've never mentioned LT to him.

It really doesn't matter what you told him. You likely wont get him unless Auburn doesn't want him

I am just sort of flummoxed by all the virtual ink being spilled over the Colbert decision. He is a decent, but not a great player. Whichever team doesn't get him will end up picking up someone else.

Blasphemy

HE IS A MUST GET. Our 85 man roster will not survive without him.

Fine with me, I don't care too much about him one way or the other. He is a good prospect, but there are others similar to him. I was just pointing out we looked at him as an OG as well.
