As of right this second..no, it can't. We have by far the best RB in the league (maybe America) and our #2 would likely start for around 100 other cfb teams. Everyone else in the league who gets mentioned in these type of things only has *potential* to go on, which by the way we just brought in 2 of the best RBs in America this recruiting class so we've got that too.

Since LF and Roc Thomas have been declared just as good or better than Yeldon, Henry, and Drake at Alabama
Auburn fans have him pegged as the #3-#4 running back this season, behind Cam Artis-Payne, Corey Grant, and possibly Peyton Barber... Why are you making shite up?

Sorry Dawg, but you have not mentioned one thing that counts. Ability wise your boys are good as any,but if they stay hurt and can't be effective, sorry.

Not particularly relevant to a discussion about the SEC

Do you need a reminder who has #1?

I take it you're kind of an idiot. They don't "stay" hurt. Marshall got blindsided in the knee and was out for the year. Gurley had an LSU player roll the frick out of his ankle from behind and missed half the season. He came back as soon as he could and played gimpy the rest of the season. What else should Gurley/Marshall have done, IYO?

I will end this argument. Since LF and Roc Thomas have been declared just as good or better than Yeldon, Henry, and Drake at Alabama, then Coker will lead Alabama to another national title.
quote:Your statement, the first one quoted, is far and away grasping for straws...since that was NEVER said. All that was said was that the position could be argued. Racean Thomas was never said to be just as good or better than TJ Yeldon, Derrick Henry, or Kenyan Drake.
I think the RB position could be argued. I didn't get to see enough of Barber to form an opinion of him. Roc will be coming in this summer and he is thought to be a perfect fit for Gus' system. Add in CAP and Grant, who are proven backs...

Gonna be interesting once it is Henry's team and he is Bama's starter who has a better career...he or Fournette

Running backs Alabama is close, but I would actually go Georgia. Gurley Marshall and Michel vs Yeldon Drake Henry?
Posted on 4/20/14 at 6:07 pm to IgotDaPics
Neither Auburn nor LSU have a running back that could start at Alabama and one of Auburn's left Alabama because he was not going to get any time.
Gurley could at UGA if he could stay healthy long enough.Which he has not been able to do.

Tenpenny actually had more carries last year than Henry
And Tyren Jones was redshirted.......can't sit him anymore

Henry really tore it up in the spring game with 8 carries for 22 yards.
