If he and the o-line stay healthy Dak should be able to get to 4,000 yards offense.
I think 4,000, but Mullen does like to burn clock with the running game when he has the lead. If the running game gets back up to speed this year, it will help us win games, but it will affect the yards that Dak puts up. Mullen really likes long drives that allow the D to rest.

Personally I'm expecting
2500-3000 yards passing
1000-1500 yards throwing.
He had 1900+ yards passing and 800+ yards rushing last season, while missing two and half games(Half being OM) and splitting time with Russell in two or three games. So add about 3-4 more games worth of PT for him then factor in all of our WR's are coming back rather than starting fresh, then add in if he's gotten even a little better with decision making and accuracy and he should have 'heisman' numbers.
All of that depends on how well the OL gels, which'll be tough losing Gabe and Siddoway, but I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm not thinking he'll win the heisman, but if State was ever gonna have a heisman winning QB, it'd be this year or next.
ETA: HOLY SHITE

That's about where he would have been last year as a full-time starter...
I'm hoping for 3k+ yards passing, 1k yards rushing, and 40+ total TDs. State gets to 9-3 with those numbers and he's got a decent shot at being in New York...
It'd be badass just to make the ceremony and get all that publicity directly in front of recruiting Pass... Actually "winning" the award is a pipe dream at this point IMO. But being in the final 5 and having a spot in New York? Just a mild improvement extrapolated over the full year.

So which one?

As good as he played in the 4th quarter against us, he still had one or two throws that he forced (one of which could have been a pick 6 if Prewitt holds on to it). But young quarterbacks are going to try and make ridiculous throws.
He had to relearn how to throw with a numb arm heading into that game.
Where you're saying long ball was his biggest problem, I'm going with piss, vinegar, testosterone and adrenaline. He gets REAL worked up in some of the bigger games. This always results in Touchdowns or fumbles / interceptions. No middle ground for this guy.
I'd like to see him carry us to a different Bowl game this year and win an award other than the Conerly Trophy. I'd also like to see him venture into Porn.

Would make a great football player and cheerleader scene with Taylor Stone.

I'm kind of upset that she hasn't done anymore work.

Dak would be great in Teachers 3 with our heroes Evan Stone and Tommy Gunn.

I'm accounting for the swing in our schedule from 13 games to 15 games.

If you extrapolate his stats from last year over a full season, he would have surpassed these numbers...
I was being conservative. Also wanted to factor in that I expect Damien Williams to get a bunch of reps when MSU has a nice lead.

I am skeptical if this means anything for his progression, but it's a nice honor and having Dak rep MSU in one of the most famous offensive camps in the country can't be a bad thing for recruiting.

This guy will be like having a Relf that throws the long ball well at 2nd string.
Full boner.
