It'll be interesting to see what A&M does. They certainly could have a big drop off without Manziel and Evans to throw to.

Kentucky might struggle but at least we'll have somebody who can air it out this year.

A&M- losing Johnny football and likely starting a True freshman

We had a senior transfer bc he was third string and may start at TCU this year. I think kenny hill/Kyle Allen either one will be fine. Go start a thread about our linebackers or safeties if you wanna rustle.

I can understand folks picking LSU due to what we lost....but we have some outstanding young talent coming in that should soften the blow to some degree.

Look for LSU's QB's to rely heavily on our FB's and TE's to help us move the chains this year. Remarkably those guys have great hands it seems from Spring practice. Cam says Connor Neighbors might be the best catching FB he has ever been around. Our /D/Run game/ST should take a lot of stress off the young QB's as well.

LSU has always found ways to win even w/o stellar QB play. Good luck to A&M giving that a whirl, especially with a crap Defense

LSU will be fine, the offense will just look different.

At least, it will look different than it did at the beginning of the 2013 season. Everybody here still forgets that even with Beckham and Landry putting up 2300 yards, Hill had over 1600.

A solid QB is a luxury at LSU, not a requirement for success. Look at recent history for plenty of examples.

Why did you attribute this quote to me? I didn't say anything remotely like that.

The way we recruit at pretty much every other position, this shouldn't be the "norm".

Well, it's a fairly simple matter of hitting the button to what you want to quote. Oh well...

I also think UGA is a close second. I think Hutson Mason is a glorified Joe Cox 2.0

I'm guessing you've never seen Hutson Mason throw a single pass, and are just assuming this since Hutson is, like Cox, a 5th year senior first year starter. They aren't similar players at all.

We also have a lot better players around Mason than Cox ever had.

MSU - realizing that Dak Prescott is as bad of a thrower as Tim Tebow (NFL version)

Because Manziel wasn't going to be able to do shite without Swope in 2013...or without Fuller in 2012.

You should probably just give up posting altogether. You seem to be nothing but negative to everything any LSU coach does regardless of the sport. We don't need you're constant bitching and negativity polluting the board. It's bad enough you had a meltdown yesterday and never beating bama when they received several commitments, though now I'm starting to question whether or not you are in fact an LSU fan.

Not to mention the depth situation is 100x better than it was when Cox was under center. We have viable options behind him, not just a couple of talented true freshman like Cox had.

I really love how it's "obvious" that LSU will suffer most, even though all of the other teams named will be starting QBs without a single meaningful snap to their credit.
