Pretty sure 7 years, 20 million. Would get Miller on the first plane from Dayton to Columbia.....would more than cover any buyout

Journalists and I use that world lightly. Are saying that even Painter would be in play for Mizzou....

If Alden hired Painter he must step down as AD the next second

Alden falling into the Painter thing once was okay. Fall into it again with a significantly less attractive resume for Painter and I'll piss on him the next chance I get.

Which is never, because I'm 1,600 miles from Alden, but I would piss on him if he goes back to that well. I think. Wouldn't buy a flight to do it, but if the chance ever came in passing, he's getting wet.

That is all.

We're not paying Billy Donovan money for an A10 coach.

This isn't recruiting, dude. It's going to happen quickly and before most of us notice.

Until it happens, get on my level and start advocating for a Quin return for fun.

Jason King @JasonKingBR
Not saying Marshall would take it, but on this one, if they call ... he'll take it seriously. But again, no less than $3 million.Retweeted by

Im sure I'll get ripped for saying this, but Missouri is one place that MAY have a shot at Gregg Marshall. Offer would have to be incredible

I do. It won't be Marshall as he is known in the coaching circles to be a headcase and tough to work with (he wins, though).

McDermott is interested
Tyndall is interested
Kelvin Sampson has reached out

That's all the info that I've got at this time. More to come in the morning, hopefully.

I think Anderson would be a good hire. FWIW.

So would McDermott

If we want to have anything of a basketball program we are going to pay a coach that no matter what their current conference is...

We are Mizzou....we have never been to a final 4, never won a NC in football.....turned down Bill Self for Quin ( and I would hire Quin now because current Quin 10x> old Quin ). got Painter a raise and he repaid Purdue kindly with sub-.500 basketball.

Our track record of hiring basketball coaches is horrific and does not work.......you have some names or a better idea other than gathering up a search committee... Let me know

I like Kim Anderson but I would rather he stay at the DII level.

We're not taking anyone else's trash (i.e. Grant, Kennedy, Ray...) Maybe next year you guys will be in a similar situation, but you won't be getting paid $500,000 to get rid of them.

I went to the NIT game against Southern Miss and came away very impressed with Tyndall. That team was relentless, played defense and the whole was better than the sum of the parts. Pretty much the opposite of Mizzou this year.
