I still think Mizzou needs to look at Kansas State, Southern Miss, LaTech, or Cal for their next coach.

I like Weber as a coach. I just think he was at Illinois too long.

.673 win pct as a head coach
10 trips to the tourney
5 conference championships
He has taken Martins mess at KState and had them in the tourney both years.

Does Greg McDermott have any more kids? Really, Tulsa if Mizzou fans weren't so happy it would be funny.

If Weber wore out his welcome at Illinois I don't see him really doing much more at Mizzou at this point in this career. They need to go with either an up and comer (Archie Miller) or someone who has had a major conference D-1 position (like you mentioned, Dixon wouldn't be bad) but isn't so far on the other side of his career he's gone in a couple years anyway.

Mizzou needs some stability right now.

Weber hasn't been relevant since he went to the title game with Self's players.. he got worse every year.

Martin didn't leave a mess at KSU, he just butted heads with the AD, he left after a Round of 32 appearance.

Weber is a very good coach who can't recruit.

and the stupid begins with names Mizzou could never land in 100 years.

We just ran off (the fans) a coach who won national coach of the year, a conference tournament title and went to the NCAA tournament twice in 3 years...

We are such a sweet little rose for the picking..... SMH

I heard this afternoon that Mizzou contacted Melvin Watkins, not sure if he is interested in the job or not.

Just signed a rather large extension with Dayton. No reason to leave there really. Conference sent 5 or 6 teams to the tournament. The fan support is great (the packed the forum in Memphis for the regional final).

When will people realize that Shaka Smart turned down UCLA, he isn't going to coach at your school.

A lot of these coaches are in a holding pattern considering the possible jobs that could open in the next 5 or so years.

Indiana, UNC, Duke, Florida, Louisville, Syracuse, Michigan State, and Kentucky could open up within the next 3-7 years.

I would say Cronin but Miller is the best bet. Mizzou is now obviously a stepping stone job. Might as well bring in the next one.

Cronin again would be perfect but not enough money in the world to buy him away from his alma mater
