@GoodmanESPN: A few names Missouri will consider at (if Haith leaves): Mike White, Archie Miller, Matt Painter (again), Pat Kelsey.

I wonder if Cuonzo Martin has signed that Cal contract yet -- because he'd fit in much better at Missouri.

Even better. Bring me trips from Cuonzo and Bruce to TBA.

About as much chance of happening as Mizzou signing Haith to a long term deal. Alden was not pleased with the way Painter used Mizzou to get a contract extension at Purdue. It will not happen on Alden's watch !

yep if Alden hires Marshall I could forgive him for the three terrible hires he has made (Quinn, Haith, Anderson)

I could see Marshall being the kind of guy that goes the Shaka route and waits for the bigger job to open (see: Indiana).

Somebody needs to bring Mark Gottfried back to the SEC.

I'm sure Travis Ford and Greg McDermott will be looking to get out of their current situations soon as well.

May I suggest John Pelphrey?

Great coach and a vital part of Billy Donovan's staff.

Ben Howland also would be a good candidate considering his track record for advancing deep into the tournament.

And who wouldn't love to see some boring arse Ben Howland basketball in the SEC?

My hope is Alden hires Shaka Smart, his teams defend, and play up tempo brand of basketball. The best of both worlds
