My sentence that you quoted even says "regardless of how it starts", basically meaning that most of the time it's not us.

Start scrolling. The first person to actually directly talk about fairley in a negative way is a bama fan. Then more praise for murray from random posters..this is good. Then another bama fan with a negative comment about fairley.
2nd post on page 2 we have the first ben jones comment. So we've gotten to that before any UGA fans have actually talked crap about fairley. MOre bama fans talking crap. Then finally at the bottom of page 2 you have flatwoods talk crap about fairley.
So by the time any of us called him out, you have:
1)a mingling of people giving murray props (the point of the OP)
2)bama fans railing on fairley
3)park bringing up ben jones
UGA fans soooo MAD

Sigh....as I've said multiple times it absolutely was mentioned. Do I really need to do this again? If he hadn't mentioned that the next page of questions from non-UGA/AU fans would be "when was that? What play?"

Btw, as lame as it sounds, I enjoy threads like this where people are actually talking about something and staying on topic. Seems like the past few years there's been such a proliferation of shitty trolls, alters, and idiots that it's nice to have these once in a while. Even if it is with nyc.

No, I never said we bring it up. I have said that we talk about it, in rebuttal, then we get the finger pointed at is. See my example a few pages back. I'm saying that others bring it up first, then AU fans just sit back and wait until the first UGA fan does, then you pounce and point fingers.

OK, the part of the article that the OP is drawing attention to (Murray playing with a broken sternum, that may have gotten lost here) was always going to generate this rant reaction, since Fairley was a critical part of that particular story. That does not mean that the intention of the thread was to create a Fairley thread. It was just a inevitable result, since this is the rant and posters can't simply give Murray credit without taking a shot at someone.
