What does this mean in regards to Hale Hentges?

Hopefully Pinkel shows Hentges video of back when we implemented the "Twin Towers" offense with Martin Rucker and Chase Coffman (both went to the NFL)...That two TE package was the last time we had a truly unstoppable redzone offense.

I think the question we have is not "Is Mizzou backing off?" but does this commitment speak to the Mizzou coaches' lack of confidence in landing him, or was it the plan all along to take multiple TEs?

For example we took a commitment from a DB the night before Kerryon Johnson announced for Auburn. Some think that we took it because we knew Kerryon was headed elsewhere.

They were recruiting both all along. Part of the pitch to Daniel was showing him how we want to utilize him and Hentges at the same time. Our offense in 2007 was a two TE offense, but we haven't had TEs the caliber of Martin Rucker and Chase Coffman since that time.

We were always taking two TE. Imatorbhebhe was an early offer who we have been recruiting hard. He's not a backup plan at all. He and Hentges have been our two top targets all along.

I don't know about the whole DLine U comment, but supposedly, Anree really likes Mizzou and now has 2 team mates going to Mizzou (assuming Imatorbhebhe sticks with his commitment). If we didn't have the first 2, I probably wouldn't give us much of a chance. Combine that with the fact that one of the North Gwinnett coaches I believe has some ties to Mizzou and I'd give Mizzou a 50/50 chance. One encouraging statement from Imatorbhebhe was that he was going to try to convince Anree to not wait, as if there is a clear leader to make the decision already. Time will tell.

If we do play on CBS, Danielson will be too busy talking about and making excuses for the other team to even mention his name.

I kind of questioned us pulling resources out of TX recruiting wise, but Georgia has been good to us.

They stuck to the Texas area that has been good to them, having too many coaches down there, especially being in East, would of hurt recruiting.

Like to see us hit Florida hard also. Pulling from Ga and Fla would bring in kids as good or not better than we did in Texas.

They mentioned last year, expect the bump in recruiting this year. Last year was the big, "Prove it" year for MU. Now kids know they can compete and are joining.
