Not that I'd ever stick up for them but you may have the Beakers confused with K-State in terms of the worst ever moniker.
Aside from that, something about throwing records out the window when it comes to rivalry games does tend to apply in this case. The rivalry over the years tended to be defined by two things: Mizzou lived and breathed to beat ku in basketball, and ku lived and breathed to beat Mizzou in football.

Its not Big 12 rivalry bullshite, it predates that. Its Yank vs Reb rivalry stuff, quite literally. Difference. Now you can call that weird, you can call that stupid, but neither us nor the kansan side is ever gonna get the memo.
