Sure they do, when that coach has a show-cause against him. That is the exact reason for a show-cause. Auburn had to clear it with the NCAA when we hired Pearl. We actually hired him on Saturday afternoon, but couldn't make it official until we went before the NCAA with it. Pearl's show cause last's until some time in August.
