If we're going to do this it needs to be for a series and can't be all option runs. I'd love to see the variety but we need to be smart about it.

Am I the only one here that cringes when the "running" qb is trotted out for one play....everyone in the stadium knows he's going to run....he gets stuffed...and the the regular qb comes back? Wasted play.
I want him for a redzone package.

In this case you could leave Bauta in for more than one play. He has a servicable arm, knows the system - sort of, and is capable of making a good decision. He played well in the spring game. I actually think throwing him in once in awhile will produce big passing plays.

I just want to mindfrick spurrier and make him burn a time out, then bring mason back in. Bauta wouldnt even have to run a play. We were supposed to do that last year if yall recall, but i guess bauta wasnt ready for that kind of responsibility.

I get that theory, and it makes sense. I'd counter with the "wildcat" formation, where everyone knows what's going to happen.

But Bauta would provide an additional benefit in that he can actually throw the ball. It's another wrinkle that the defense needs to account for. Sure, if 80-90% of the time he runs or options, we'll have defenses assuming that will be the play when he comes in, then he hits Conley on a go route.

We don't necessarily need to leave him in for a series, but he does give us flexibility to stay in there an run a few consecutive plays if necessary.

I'd agree, though, that Mason should be in the game for the vast majority of the time while giving Bauta enough snaps to make defenses prepare for him.

That would be best for everyone but not sure that's realistic. In Tray's case though, he's already on the thinnest of thin ice and should shut the frick up.

I wanted to deny it but at this point I can't see Matthews staying at Georgia much longer. I hope Pruitt and co are recruiting some safeties (which I figure you'd know).

Maybe some that use their heads for something other than a hat rack.

I wonder if he knows that his parents or grandparents were never slaves? It has been banned in this country for 150 years. What a dumbass.

It's 2014. That sounds so futuristic it's not even funny. 2014 sounds like everything should be chrome and flying. Hamburger joints on the moon? Why must this still come out from time to time?

It's never going to die until the Joseph Lowerys, the Jesse Jacksons, the Al Sharptons, and the entire lot who have ever actually witnessed anything jacked up against black folks die off. Same goes for the other side of the Bell curve, like that sick frick Dent Myers in downtown Kennesaw.
