This is a shame and an unfortunate comment.

Why are you going all dirt bag with this? There is not a single expert tonight on CBC,TSN,ESPN,NBC,FoxSports1 etc who thought that was a clean hit. They all expect a suspension and admonished Kieth, Bickell and Seabrook for the shenanigans tonight. Hell even sports columnists at the Chicago Tribune are calling a spade a spade with this.

Do what you want but man, I dont know brother, you look like a douche. I dont think you are normally but this shite has you sideways.

Come on, that Blues choking in the playoffs reference is readily available to anyone, sober or not. You should be expecting it.

I don't give a Frick about the blues. I'm curious how you went all dirtbag ITT. I assumed alcohol. If you're having other issues, that's cool.

What did I say? I think it was a circumstantial hit that will be punished, and I mentioned I support it. Come back talking about Blues going to Blackhawks heads and it will piss me off.

It is what it is. I was mad about Towes v. Orpik, and I'd probably be mad about Seabrook v Backes if I was a Blues fan. I didn't get what I wanted in discipline. Maybe you all will.

Take the discipline and shut up though, because anyone who thinks Seabrook was out there scalping for the captain is a fricking fool.

He was out looking to lay Backes out, and he did so with a dirty cheap late hit. The league will agree and he will get suspended.

fricking ironic eh?

How did you like bickell"S knee on knee and Kieths stickwork?

What about "wakey wakey Backes"?

IF that was my team I would be fricking embarrassed and I sure wouldn't be defending that bullshite.

Hawks oozing with class...

As has been explained a million times, and shouldn't need to be explained to you, the timing of the hit is of no consequence.

Intent matters when it comes to this shite. The NHL obviously doesn't care what Seabrook's intent was in the meeting tomorrow.. However, everyone will know what every hit on the Hawks in the next game's intent will be. I just figure you all need to hope they're all clean.

This was bound to happen, just be happy Jackman didn't bounce a shoulder off Toews' chin.

Point is, you either believe Seabrook was looking to injure Backes or you don't. Blues fans thinks he's evil, Hawks fans disagree. It is what it is. Seabrook isn't a goon, he doesn't have a record of this shite. So, whatever.

Sorry Backes got hurt.

Hopefully your Blues goon it up enough for you to feel satisfied next game. Hopefully it doesn't lose them the game.

ETA: This shite is too hard to do on an ipad.

Garbage. Nice.

Don't worry, I won't take it all garbage like the Cards talk. We've got to have standards.

What about Kieth's stickwork? Bickell's knee on knee? Wakey wakey backes?

So the Hawks goon it up and act classless but shame on Blues fans, right?

The fact you wont acknowledge what every unbiased hockey pundits have said about the Hawks play tonight is making you look foolish.

I would 100% be pissed off if my team did that shite. I sure as hell hope the Blues win the series and maintain their dignity and class because the organization we are playing came unglued tonight and it was a shite show and a black eye on the entire Hawks organization From Q all the way down.

Oh really? What have I ever said that's even remotely "garbage" involving the Cards? frick, I even really like the Royals. Dont think I have ever said anything at all about the Cubs either.

Have I ever mentioned anything about anything other then the hit on Backes? I won't talk about minor issues because those things happen when your team is trailing.

I will say that the Blackhawks were penalized less than almost any other team this season none have fewer hits than almost every other team this regular season. There's a track record of clean play that stands above what's happening now.

Do I want them playing rough? No. Do teams do that when they're losing? Yes.

It is what it is. All I'm trying to address here tonight is the Seabrook hit, the fact that it wasn't intentionally malicious, and the future.

Retribution talk is fine, but it will piss me off. That is also fine, I'm allowed to be pissed off. Like I said before, hopefully it doesn't get in the way in Chicago.

Well, someone on the Hawks will pay the bill for Seabrook. Thats how it works in the NHL.

It wont be "malicious". It will just be an "unfortunate circumstance"

My guess is Kieth better keep his head on a swivel.

Just a guess though.

Blues were my second favorite team when I lived in Missouri. I have no real hate (SJ is second now, girlfriend.)

I just don't like the whole classification by entire fan base. I've only got one team that wins, and to be honest, the Blackhawks win clean, with hard play, and talent. Don't say we're trash because I don't agree with you on the hit. It's bullshite and basically a cop out. I dislike it coming from anyone, but especially Mizzou fans I like.

frick that, I won't stand for it.

Only thing that matters is the result. Better hope they're clean, gentlemen. Seabrook's wasn't and now we've got a war.

I didn't watch it, but I'm assuming it's from a time before fans of teams used to get their vaginas all sweaty about a bad hit.

Am I correct?

Also, and I'm really not talking shite here, why has the Blues fans response to this been so dumb? Is it that the majority are new to hockey, or is the media just talking it up more than they should?

ETA: St. Patricks. Nice.

On this note, I don't imagine them not to be.

We are not known for our retaliations (at least from my perspective) and our fan forums are usually lit up due to the lack of.

Oshie got fricked up by a questionable head hit vs. Minnesota in one of the final games. Nothing.

Pietrangelo taken out last year versus the kings. Nothing remarkable that I recall was done about it.

Maybe it's just bitching, but I always see that being one of the biggest gripes about Hitchcock is not sending someone to retaliate (and in these fans minds sending the message we won't stand for being ran at).
