I'm just hoping for 1
They just got swept on the road and will probably be focused as hell for the series this weekend.
So 1-2 or 0-3 unfortunately is what I'm thinking.
I have zero confidence in our bats Friday night against Nola.
And we've all seen just how quickly we can go full retard and suddenly revert back to bad news bulldogs.
Going down there and somehow taking 2/3 would really send the message that their baseball rival is truly back
They just got swept on the road and will probably be focused as hell for the series this weekend.

We will be focused too. It's crazy how personal our team takes the LSU series -- even before losing it last year and then having that bs hit the fan with Mainieri and Katz' crying on Sunday. They've been #1 on our calendar all season. It's the only real opponent I've experienced our team talking about in person...

Here's my thing -- for the most part, it's the midmajor shite throwers we've had trouble with this year. We've looked pretty good against some aces -- and the bigger the name, the better we've done against them(so far). So, we will see -- but I'm not conceding shite to Nola on the front end.

Going down there and taking 2 of 3 would put my perception that we're in the very early stages of a role reversal into the back of their minds -- instead of them just laughing about it like they did when I first started saying it last year. Cohen is alot more like Bertman, while Mainieri is alot more like Polk. I know he has an early title with alot of inherited players and carried by football guys in Omaha -- I just don't see the same "it" factor that LSU teams had for all those years...
