Actually, he started coming around some last year and showed some pop. His first few years in the minors were god awful however last year he showed signs of being a serviceable hitter but I don't think he will ever have a major league quality bat for a starter. He ended up with 12 dingers and actually had some stretches of good hitting and ended with a .277 BA but he is still a free swinger that doesn't walk nearly enough.
