those first 4 should produce some kind of offense...now can Jupton, Uggla, and Gattis help em out and maybe get some RBI stuff going on after those guys reach? that is the question...

Gattis be slumpin too BTW

glad to see Schafer gettin some time...he deserves it...he is a good addition and if BJ continues to suck or if fragile Heyward gets hurt, he will be perfect to fill shoes...

oh and just cause everybody in here needs to chill out....my gift

When you get off BJ's nuts maybe you will understand that nobody is judging him by 7 games. I'm looking at last season plus his declining numbers in Tampa every year. Worst contract in Atlanta Braves history, period. Also, everyone knows the Braves can't just cut these 3 guys. They can bench them for prolonged periods of time though, which should happen soon if they don't turn it around. Just in case you missed it, Heyward is 0-last 21 or something like that so how can you say these FOUR should produce offense? Your opinions still suck! Never called for Richt's head.

perception...

that play last night when Justin had to run all the way to left center field to try to catch the ball, when BJ could have made the play look routine, because it was. Justn may have been calling fo it but the CF has precedence over all. That play and plays like it and some of his comments to the mediais why people precieve he has a bad attitude

I don't undertsand what is wrong with JUP hitting second like last year. Simmons never strikes out, but he hits at least 2 pop ups to 3rd base a game it seems.

I have. .249 Career BA and 19 HR per year...it was a horrible signing at the time. Now we're stuck with 'em and his contract.

The Braves of all teams cannot afford FA mistakes like him

Only in the 2nd inning but so far Santana is dealing tonight. so far he has thrown 19 pitches and every pitch has been a strike.

This. I was immediately cursing Fredi for it, then proceeded to scream at my tv when the pen started giving up runs. That guy has no idea how to manage a bullpen.

McDowelll is the one who said they should yank him. It was his first start, and the top of the lineup was due up...they didn't want him to go over 100 pitches. Usually Walden doesn't frick up like that.
