Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and people watching when I was down there.

I figured. I've never liked "club" type bars.

Places I drank while attending OM:

Longshots
Proud Larry's
Jubilee
Two Stick (when it was still hidden in the alleyway)
Blind Pig (when it was on the same strip as where Irie is now)

Pretty much anywhere that frequently had live music.

ETA - I just want to take a moment to reiterate how pissed I still am that Two Stick ever moved. It was really cool where it was.

It's no longer in existence.

Never heard of longshots?

Goes to show that it never should have moved. It killed the atmosphere that made it awesome.

Longshots was where Taylor's Pub is now.

If that is still Taylor's Pub. It's been a while since I've been down that strip.

ETA - Also liked Murph's.

Maybe I'm cursed. Everywhere I liked at one point seems to have closed.

Mediterranean restaurant now.

The head sushi chef still makes rolls at Oxford Grillhouse when he gets bored.

Would rather just go to Volta than brave the Square for that.

Though, I did like Petra when it first opened. Before it tanked.

The bars in Oxford have so many things wrong with them. Pretty much only the round table (just now) has a decent outdoor area. Why don't we have a beer garden/ice house? No rooftop bars? All we have is dark overpriced places now it's ridiculous.

Longshot was where Two Stick landed after it moved out of the back of where the Lyric is now. Now the spot is Tre Amici. I was devastated when Two Stick moved because I knew it would not survive in the new location. The old Blind Pig was where the Round Table is now and took a lot of the Longshot crowd when it closed down.

CG, B-Room, Boure, Roosters = all have balconies.

Library has an entire outdoor bar, as does the Levee.

I do agree that some rooftop bars would be cool though.

They are tiny, especially CG, BR, and Boure.

"The patio" at the library is outdoors yes but surrounded by walls, the most outdoorsy part is you can smoke. And well the levee just sucks.

If you guys ever get a chance to go to College Station you should go to a bar called the corner, it has a rooftop bar and you can see the entire campus. I know I am being nitpicky but I am so jealous of all the options most other SEC schools have. Which is mostly our fault because a bar wouldn't last a month off the square.

Just go to Athens and the GA Theater....
