I haven't gotten any communication so I have to assume I am behind you. I am pretty sure I will not be happy with my choices either. Still not sure what I will do.

Serious Question.
So what is the lesson to be learned here? Would you say it was worth getting good tickets with a group for all of the years that you did it? Or would you say that you would have rather gotten your own tickets to build up you BDC rank?
Looking to make that same decision in the future...

You can do the first one. Just make sure you are also donating a decent amount to the bulldog club to keep your number up. Some of the same people complaining are the same ones that give the bare bones minimum and wonder why they don't have seats on the 50

Thanks man. I don't really want to right now because I have access to either club level or boxes most games, but in the near future I wouldn't mind branching out on my own just to have my own shite.
Hopefully I'll have a chance to sit in the new Loge section this year because I think that would be pretty cool, but you never know how shite like that will be until you try it out once or twice.

quote:Hard to say. I didn't go to games for years because of raising kids, didn't particularly like large crowds, etc., so we eased back into it when someone offered to add seats to his purchase. We have a place to stay now and enjoy the tailgating. They were not particularly good seats but I was inside the stadium. I was Ok with where I sat but I figured that if I was going do a re-seating then this was the year I needed to it. Wish I could tell you what to do but really can't not knowing more about your situation.
Serious Question.

TBH..if I'd had known I was going to get dicked over on the reseating I'd have not renewed this year. Req is right about people donating the bare bones and bitching (yes that's pretty much me).
Truth is, if you don't plan on going to every game and don't always have a place to stay(like me and many of my friends) then it's best just to go and scalp, watch the rest from the house.
It's expensive AF to go up to Starkville and get a hotel and do the whole tailgating thing... Oh well, phuck it. We do it for the dawgs and the daste

quote:If I end up in an area that I really don't want to be and doesn't meet my pledge, I will lower my pledge and try to get a refund on what I have already put down as a deposit on the tickets. My wife is an Ole Miss grad and goes to our games but could really give two rips whether she goes or not. She likes the tailgating part for the visiting but that's it. I could buy a pretty good ticket in the Junction for the games I really care about seeing live for $1,300 a year.
