I have, in the past, gotten my tickets with a group so I got no credit for it. I figure if I am going to keep doing this then this is the year to do it. I pledged enough to get inside the 30s on the West lower deck. If I don't get there then not sure what I will do. I hope I can go pick out my seats during the day on Friday of Super BD Weekend. I have done the 3D look up thing but I want to go sit in the seat prior to picking. My BDC ranking is no one's business.

Understandable I guess..

I'm afraid if you wait that long then all seats will be gone in the better areas. The day I get my times I'm going in at the first second I can to start selecting seats.

KCdawg, you have to request to get a phonecall to select seats, you may have already done that, otherwise it'll be an email telling you the time you can log in.

My fear is that, like many others like you Diamond, a lot of folks have been buying in groups and BDC 1- 5000 will probably take all the good seats because they are buying for multiple ppl. It's smart, but if the group's not in your name then you could get screwed.

Anywhere is probably better than where I have been sitting with my other group. Like I said, I "pledged" enough to get where I would like to be. If I don't get there, then I guess I will get them to lower my pledge and decide what to do.
I rarely give two hoots about the OOC games. I could buy pretty good tickets on game day from outside and save myself a whole lot of money I suppose. I am just not going to get in a bidding war with these high dollar folks. That may seem selfish but my wife would rather watch it on tv back at the rv and I am just about to get that way. Do the tailgate thing right up to game time and get to the rv in about 10 minutes by car or cab (depending on what I have been doing).

The TV experience is killing in game atmospheres all over the country.

Where I was at (I loved the location, first row on the 10 yard line on the east side down by the jumbotron) but companies had seats all around be and would give them away to employees. So my in-game atmosphere was trying to squeeze in my 1 ft seat next to a 500 lb dude that was sweating like a hog. Unpleasant to say the least..it'd be nice to be able to sit around other MSU fans in my own damn stadium, also.

My friends would either use one of my seats or just buy a ticket in a nice spot for a decent price after the game has started. They spent alot less money than me and they went to just as many games as I did.

But I digress...

Watching the game on tv and missing the rap music on the jumbotron is not killing the game. How many sellouts have we had in a row? I won't be missed.

I see your point, but that doesn't really have anything to do with the my point about watching on TV ruining in game atmospheres.

Really?

Buy some headphones and listen to the broadcast on the radio grandpaw.

I know.. Stricklin killed the atmosphere with all the damn commercials. I'd rather hear rap and get pumped the phuck up and let the crowd stay loud through tv timeouts to keep our momentum going on the field.

If people are saying they are missing a game because of the music, they are just looking for any excuse out there to justify their actions.

OK - let me put it a different way. I am prepared to spend $1,300+ for 2 tickets in certain sections of the stadium. If I can't get those sections, I am not going to spend 1,300 plus for lesser seats that should cost 900. Got it now?

I will never understand why people think the music at the game is for them.

I thought you said you were just going to downgrade your pledge if you didn't get the seats you wanted?

Not withdraw it altogether.

Got it, diamondawg, and that's a realistic excuse.

I said I did not know what I would do. I can't withdraw it altogether as I have already paid some of it. I have actually already paid some on the tickets too just to hold a place. I don't know if I could cancel that and get a refund. Hopefully, my pledge will get me where I want to be. I should at the very least get where the student sections were vacated but I am not sure I want to sit there (East Side).

I understand, I've wanted to put in for my own season tickets as well, but right now with the tickets we currently get it would be stupid to turn them down to end up in the nosebleed.

Hopefully so.

You DON'T. I cannot stress that enough. They were great seats for $5 a game, don't get me wrong, but when that sun is beating down in mid September it really sucks arse.

A little sun doesn't hurt a real man like Diamond.

The sun doesn't hurt anyone but if I'm shelling out cash I would rather be on the other side.
