They couldn't keep it going, those players don't know how to handle the pressure. I didn't want to be a dick but I told my Royal fan friends that their team can't win until they get a legit power hitter.

Holy shite, we're calling up Gonzales to pitch his first MLB game in Denver?

Mo has giant balls.

I just threw up a little in my mouth.

Mo has female parts, not big balls.

Gonzalez is 22, was rated the most MLB ready arm in last years draft. He's polished and ready. AA is better than AAA in some ways, it's really not that ballsy of a move.

Someone tell Jay bend his bill.

I dunno man. I'm actually a little worried about it being too soon for him. Yes, he was the most ready for the big league but that doesn't mean he's ready now. I'm excited to see it, but will be holding my breath a bit.

Cards just signed their 29th round pick, a high school pitcher, for $700,000. That's $600,000 that counts against their bonus pool. They were already about $100,000 over slot. Now, they're $700,000 over slot. They have about $330,000 to play with over slot where all they have to do is pay a fine. Any more than that and we lose draft pics. Mo has his work cut out for him with the remaining draft picks. Gonna have to low ball them to the tune of $370,000 to $700,000.

Royals and Cards have the same record right now (44-40). I find that interesting.

With the Cards playing their worst baseball in a decade and the Royals playing their best baseball in a decade. I kid. I kid. Kinda.

Won a couple series in a row. Might be finding another good groove?

2007 seemed worse to me.

But this is pretty bad.

Sure hope so, but I've got concerns about Shields. Would be nice if Detroit would lose every once in a while as well.

Yeah. I kid. Seems the Royals and Cards seasons are paralleling each other in more ways than one. If we can just get the Brewers and Tigers to lose.

Mike Shannon sounds really bad tonight.

I think he might be done broadcasting soon.

Someone needs to put together a CD of all time Jack Buck and all time Mike Shannon calls or one liners.

“That’s a cute couple down there. I bet he kisses her on the strikes and she kisses him on the balls”

Ok, found some guy that has them typed out. What's the website I can listen to them? Ya know?

“”He went after that ball like a Mexican diving for a nickel rolling down the street in Mexico City!”

“He ran to second faster than a cat in Chinatown.”

This shite cracks me up. They for real? I don't remember any of those calls.
