If Wiley comes to AU, we are on the right track. I can't wait

Ronnie Johnson would be a huge get, obviously. He is a proven scorer in a good league. I don't know if he will take a chance at Auburn though.

Playing homer here, we would offer him immediate playing time and likely be one of the focal points of our team considering KT leaves and most guys we bring in aren't going to be elite/on his level

Essentially, we can offer being a star for a good coach with solid role players that likely won't take his thunder

His shooting % and free throw % are pretty crappy though.

What does he offer that we don't already get from Tahj?

A PG that isn't 5'7, a proven scorer in a good league and depth at PG at worst

Are we at a point where we can start offering schollies for depth?

Or might we need an impact player? ESPECIALLY at the post positions?

He's a PG first, he moves the ball around well and plays solid defense. His FG% is pretty decent for a PG too, all in a much tougher league. But I'll leave the analysis up to the basketball guys here.

And I know Bruce made a passionate spill about the current players being his players but there's going to be a fair amount of attrition.

Wish I knew more. I can give some good insight on Big East and Pac12 basketball since I keep up with it. I just want to when I try and follow anything Big10 related including BBall unless it is a top matchup.

Wish we could get more left coast talent looking our way. Would make life more interesting to me

Also, does talking to potential transfers count as recruiting? Is Pearl able to recruit all these guys wanting to transfer in?

Purdue was 15-17 last year.

5-13 in conference.

My interpretation would be yes. Whether it be high school or college it would be trying to recruit someone to come to your school.

A better player, he's been starting at Purdue since he got there I believe. Also has Memphis and Cincinnati coming after him. Him and one of the Indiana transfers supposedly want to transfer and play at the same school.

I have no problem taking Indiana and Purdue transfers Big10 has talent even if they shite the bed in the tourny. I am going to assume it is Jeremy Hollowell from Indiana.

If we were able to pull off Hollowell, Ronnie Johnson and Anrio Adams, that would be 3 different ESPN top 100 HS players to transfer in.I don't care if it doesn't count, I would mark it as the best recruiting class in AU history from a ranking standpoint (even if they are old)

ETA: Our beat writers need to put something like #AUBBall in their tweets so that I can quick search for basketball news. We got so much lately and I don't want to sift through their non BBall news to find articles worth reading

2017 recruit but I don't care. Son of former Auburn basketball player Aubrey Wiley and #12 overall in the future 150.

Most importantly, his mom is Vicki Orr...one of the best women's BB players in Auburn and SEC history. 3x All-American in the 80s and She's in the Alabama Sports HOF

I know this kid. We have the same barber. He can handle, shoot, and post. He'll be a top 5 player by 2017.

Interdasting. Orr and Ruthie Bolton were legit back in the day. Those 80s women's teams were fun to watch.

Hopefully having two AU parents and Pearl as coach will mean he's a lock by then.

Come on Pearl, let's do this.

If it was Barbee
