Would be a home run hire. I follow him and he does a better job keeping up with AU basketball recruiting than the premium sites.

PM wrote a little article of how summer practice went (ended today) with some quotes from Pearl.
Pearl said we aren't going to have any trouble scoring. Says our rebounding and defense are still behind though. Bowers has dominated summer practice, Pearl said it's been too easy for Bowers Atew is out with an injury so Bowers is doing what he wants down low.
Also mentioned Malcom Canada, TSD, Canty, Ross Miller and KT had good summers.
We're still 1 over the limit and Longwood hasn't qualified yet. Pearl said he's going to wait for it to work out.

The quotes make it sound like more than one player has been told to look elsewhere. If so it would seem that the extra spot was for Logwood but it is always possible that he was misquoted. Either way we should know pretty soon.

Good point. It was hard to tell with how ambiguous everything was in the article how many have been cut.

Maybe Dion Wade. He shot poorly in limited time last year and just had surgery on his knee. He's expected to fully recover, but those injuries in basketball can be game changing.
I don't think he'll cut Alex Thompson just because he's a local kid.
